Summary: Disappointed no Wi-Fi no TV but other than that if you’re a good look reader bring a couple books relax it’s peaceful except for the trains going by constantly blowing the horn waking you up in the middle of the morning it was hell

Summary: Perfect little escape for me. I love the outdoors and fishing. I enjoyed visiting with my daughter and grandson and made wonderful memories with them. I was unable to locate via GPS, but Mike was a phone call away to help save the day. I appreciate his hospitality and patience. I hope to revisit soon.

Summary: Property was beautiful and tucked away to give you the privacy and quietness to have a nice R and R stay. Getting to property was a little tricky but Mike was just a call away to help us out. It was nice to be able to launch our boat near by to enjoy the beautiful bayou and do a little fishing. It was a nice getaway for a baseball and boating filled weekend.

Summary: We loved this place! It is really in the swamp! The porch was a perfect place to watch the teens play volleyball in the yard. The ball went in the edge of the water a couple times but they love this place!

Summary: My husband, myself and three of our adult children spent a long weekend at this house. The purpose of our trip was to welcome a new baby into our family. The new parents, our son, and his wife live nearby. We are a close family but unfortunately, we all live in different parts of the country. This house was perfect for our needs, it was clean and well equipped. We spent every wonderful morning and evening sitting on the deck relaxing and enjoying the fantastic scenery and each other's company. We loved it and hated to say goodbye. There is one small thing I need to mention; there are two bedrooms with two nice size beds however, the description stated the house will accommodate 5 people. We couldn't figure out where our daughter could sleep. We contacted the owner and were told there was a blow-up air mattress in the closet, but there was no bedding we could find. Fortunately, our son brought over some sheets and blankets. Other than that glitch everything was great.

Summary: I was on a work trip but for my family this was a vacation. The cabin was super cute and clean. The accommodations were more than adequate for four adults and two kids. We had brought our own kids sleeping arrangements and there was more than enough space for a portable crib in the bedrooms. The view from the property was amazing and it was especially fun to sit on the patio at night and listen to the animal sounds. My kids fished and fed ducks. The owner was super accommodating due to the road being covered in water and even let us use a vehicle so we could get into the property from another parking lot, so our vehicle could stay safe. Will definitely be staying again
