Located in the heart of the historic center, 5 mins’ walk from Piazza Maggiore, in one of the most picturesque streets,a totally renovated beautiful, spacious and very comfortable apartment with a wooden 17th century painted ceiling and wooden beams, with all modern amenities in an atmospheric historic setting.
Comfortably accommodating 5 (if necessary 6) people, it has 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom (where you can if necessary accommodate 2 single beds) and 2 large bathrooms with showers, with a modern kitchen and sitting/dining area
Fully equipped and very comfortable, also for long stays.
Furnishings include high-quality modern furniture, fittings and new beds (beds are singles to be put together to form doubles) with top-quality orthopedic mattresses, offering all the elements for a comfortable stay - chosen for style as well as functionality.
All kitchen devices are state-of-the-art: refrigerator/freezer, cooking range/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle and coffee-makers, utensils, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board and hair dryer. Television, DVD player and internet Wi-Fi are included. Bed linen and bath/kitchen towels are provided.
The apartment is in a great location – quiet and residential, steps from Via d’Azeglio which leads directly into the central Piazza Maggiore.
Everything you need is within walking distance or max a short bus ride.
Two well-equipped supermarkets are nearby (3 mins’walk) and“Il Quadrilatero /Mercato di Mezzo”, very picturesque food market is 5 mins’walk.
All the main attractions, as well as shops, cafés, restaurants are close by on foot.
Bologna's most elegant shopping district is very close by - and also the best gelato in town!
Plentiful historical monuments and churches are nearby, including the beautiful square and church of San Domenico, containing works of Pisano, Michelangelo and Lippi. This is a perfect spot for walking out the door to enjoy the best that Bologna has to offer.
“Giardini Margherita” (Bologna’s most famous park is close by (10 mins’walk), “S.Michele in Bosco” (nice park with a great view of the historic center from the square adjacent to the Church) is 10 mins’walk. Summary: This was a fantastic condo. Great location close to historical sites and piazza’s. We were also able to visit a few other towns by train an site see Parma, Modana, Marinella. Paola was a wonderful host and gave us some great site seeing and restaurant suggestions. 5 Star!

Summary: We loved the comfortable, well-appointed flat and its proximity to the centre of Bologna. Everything was in walking distance, with restaurants and shops nearby. We were greeted by our hosts and appreciated their concern that we should be at ease during our holiday.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paola's apartment. The place was exactly what we had hoped for. The location was on a quiet street, but convenient for walking to the town square and also close to some very good restaurants (some of which we visited multiple times during our stay!) The apartment was extremely clean and had everything you could need (extra pillows, blankets, laundry soap, cooking spices, dishes, etc). It fit the 5 of us very comfortably. Paola was very easy to communicate with and helped us with any questions we had throughout the stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: It surpassed our expectations in what it had to offer and its location to the historic centre. Paola and Ken gave us such a warm welcome and could not have been more helpul. Arriving late Saturday evening Anita, daughter of nearby local Trebbi restaurant owner took pity on us and set up an extra table in their extremely busy and delightful family restaurant. Overall we had a wonderful two week stay in Bologna band would highly recommend the apartment. We felt lucky to have found it.

Summary: Enjoyed a 17 night stay at this excellently appointed property and couldn't be happier. The location was perfect, easy to get to everything, great local eateries in the same street in a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was spacious, well furnished and extremely clean. Our hosts Paola and Kenneth were very accommodating and easily contactable. We highly recommend this property.

Summary: Paola and her husband were responsive and friendly hosts. The apartment is warm and tastefully decorated. The air conditioning works well, which is important in this new era of climate changes! Best location to discover Bologna - it is easy to walk to all the historic sites and about 20 minutes to the train station by bus. I would chose it again and definitely recommend it to my friends.

Summary: Was an amazing apartment to rent and right in the center of everything. Only one flight of stairs to walk up. Great little restaurants and cafes right around the corner and a short walk to the city center and train station!
