Welcome to The Palmer House!
Sleeps 12. Master and Guest bedroom on 1st floor each have queen beds. Upstairs loft has two twins. Upstairs bedroom sleeps 8 (1 queen, 4 twins and bunk beds ).
Whether you enjoy fishing, water-sports, wild-life, shopping, apple picking or just getting away from it all you will love our home in Southwest Michigan. Our house is mainly suited to family vacations. The house is situated on a shady tree-lined lot with a very gentle slope to water (great for kids). A 30' dock and a 40' dock with a large platform are included for your use. The 40' dock has steps into the water for easy access to a sandy bottom swim area (1 foot deep at bottom of stairs). You'll love the spacious setting and wide open views of the entire lake.

- Weber gas grill (connected to house gas line)

- Open concept design with great views to the lake!
- Dining table that seats 10+ and island bar seating for 3.

- Upstairs bedroom sleeps six (Queen, 2 Twins and Bunks)
Wireless internet, Cable TV, DVD Player, and stereo with phone jack for your music are all included for your use. Cabinet in dining area has books, DVD's and games for your use while visiting.
Things to do: Ski, tube, swim, fish and boat on 440 acre Palmer Lake. Enjoy Amish country…only 30 miles to Shipshewana, a charming Amish town with great food and shopping. Minutes away to several golf courses. Nearby orchards for apple and fruit picking. 60 minutes to Notre Dame for a fall football game.

Summary: Perfect location for a Farrand Hall wedding or dinner. Just 7 minutes from FH, grocery, and all that Colon has to offer.This place has everything you need for a great home away stay. Owner is extremely accommodating and flexible. He makes it a very comfortable and easy place to stay. It may be just a 3 bedroom home, but it's set up so perfectly for a fun family trip with the huge loft/rackroom on the 2nd floor. Great for kids/aunts/uncles, etc. Do the kayak thing or simply sit on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view. Perfect either way.

Summary: Excellent lake front hous e with room for up to 12. Quiet all sports lake even on the weekend that we were there. Owner responds promptly to messages. AC cools both 1st floor and upper level very well, thus very comfortable day and night, even on hot day or evening. Small town of Colon nearby and setting in farm area. Very nice dining options within about 20 minutes. Yoder's Country Market in Centerville, Mainstreet Smokehouse in Mendon, and Prairies Lake Tavern with very good dinner options are among the places to go. Meijer stores in Sturgis and Coldwater along with small town grocery in Colon. Would definitely stay here again. Had 22ft tritoon delivered to Palmer Lake boat access by vacationpontoonrental.com located near Angola, IN (40 miles away) for tubing and to swin from.
