Summary: It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Foxes Den. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the solitude of late fall on the lake. The property had everything we could want. Roberta's attention to detail was evident. The house was very clean and well appointed. We're looking forward to returning.

Summary: We spent 4 nights at this beautiful lake front home. It was a surprise birthday gift for my wife and she couldn't have been happier. The views of the lake are stunning and the foliage was as beautiful as we hoped it would be. The cabin is incredibly spacious. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything a guest could ask for. Roberta is top notch! She responds quickly, and gave us wonderful recommendations for places to eat and things to see. We hope to be back again.

Summary: We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The lake views are just as seen in the photographs and the cottage was very comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen. I would second the need for water shoes to reach the dock and get into the lake. As an older group, that was a big help for us to feel more secure with our footing and enjoy swimming in the lake. A great property and we were very pleased with our stay.

Summary: Glorious time away relaxing by the lake. Views from dining and living area perfect to wake up to with coffee. Ample seating in multiple areas outside to enjoy the sunset. Will be returning.

Summary: This is our second year at Foxes Den. We enjoy the privacy and the expansive view of the lake from all the windows. The house is very clean and complete with all the little extras to make your vacation less stressful. The host is very easy to work with.

Summary: This vacation rental is absolutely stunning! Nestled in the woods and set back from the road, it offers a peaceful environment with minimal road noise. The homes are spaced well apart, providing privacy. We loved the two sets of ADX chairs: one near the house and another by the water, surrounding a firepit. We spent many hours relaxing in both spots. A concrete ramp next to the dock provided water access. We enjoyed floating in our inner tubes every morning and evening. Surprisingly, there were no bugs to bother us. Inside, the house was spotless when we arrived. There are two spacious seating areas with large windows overlooking the waterfront, where our family of five spent our days reading, doing puzzles, and playing games. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking, including high-quality pots and pans. The house is well-stocked with essentials like spices, extra tp, paper towels, and shampoo. The bedrooms are spread throughout the home. The mattresses were firm and comfortable, and the ceiling and portable fans kept us cool during the summer nights. There was also AC available. As mentioned by others, the record player was a delightful touch, and we never even turned on the TVs – we didn't need to. Roberta was wonderful to work with, providing excellent booking assistance before our trip. She was always accessible, responsive, and helpful. Overall, this is a perfect location for a relaxing Adirondack vacation.
