Summary: We were just in for a weekend getaway, this spot was perfect. Great view and access to the lake. My boys enjoyed going out fishing and just being outside. Everything was good!

Summary: We just spent our 4th new year retreat at Skinner Lake cottage. It is so peaceful, comfortably furnished, close to great places to eat and shop. We bring all our books, make a meal or tea, and relax. Monday was sunny and we had our coffee and read out on the deck. We love this place!

Summary: This is a nice and spacious cabin, right on the lake. The cabin is well appointed and supplied, and clearly well cared for. The back deck would be very nice for the summertime (not so much for us in winter). I took one star off for location because the front of the cabin is right on the highway (set back a bit), with neighbors all around. However, sitting in the back you may not notice.

Summary: The host provided everything guests needed and more. The place was lovely and peaceful - just what we wanted. Beautiful lake view from the deck. Loved the fact that bottles of cold water were in the refrigerator for us when we arrived - much needed and so thoughtful. I use a walker and all rooms, porch and deck were accessible.

Summary: This was our second year to enjoy time at the Lake Cottage. The "lake" theme is tastefully carried throughout. Access to the paddle boat and the canoe is a plus. Really enjoy waking up in the morning, sitting on the deck, and enjoying the view across the lake. The owners are wonderful to work with. We will definitely be looking to rent it for a third time.

Summary: We genuinely enjoyed our stay. The lake was beautiful and it was nice having the town so close by. The cottage was nicely stocked with amenities. Our one complaint was the bed was extremely soft with a foam mattress topper. Both my husband and I prefer a firmer mattress. Short of that, we have zero complaints and look forward to visiting again.
