This is a charming, tastefully appointed home that everyone will love. Comfortable and cozy, in the perfect location to enjoy all Stone Harbor has to offer. Enter from the welcoming front porch and you will find a lovely living room which leads into a dining room. The den (with single sofa bed) and kitchen both open up to a wonderful deck with chaise lounges and dining table to enjoy al fresco dining day or night. The master bedroom (queen bed) with walk-in closet and full bath complete this level. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, one with a queen and one with two twin beds plus a full bath. The queen bedroom has an attached deck, perfect for sunbathing or watching 4th of July fireworks. The home has a large driveway and a garage filled with beach chairs and boogie boards and a Webber charcoal grill with gas starter. The garage also has an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Speaking of the beach, it is a short 2 block stroll away. 101st St beach has served our family well; we have spent countless days in the surf and sand, watching the kids play in the ocean and always keeping a sharp lookout for the ice cream vendors...
Stone Harbor's 'main drag' 96th Street is just five easy blocks away - walk or ride your bike to enjoy one of the most delightful beach towns on the eastern seaboard. Shopping, dining, miniature golf and more - fun for all ages. Park the car (there is room for three) and go everywhere by bike!
The home is ideal for a family or 2-3 couples. This is a family home which we also use ourselves, this is not a party pad. It has been lovingly cared for over many years by my family and we hope to share it with yours!

Summary: This is an absolutely charming vintage shore house, with nice modern amenities like central air/HVAC. The pictures don't do it justice--the rooms are larger than they look, and there is a lot of space on the main level (we were getting lost on the first day!). Cute yard, trees, big decks, and garage with lots of beach stuff, too. We've walked past this house for decades and are glad we could stay here for the first time!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the house. The location is close to the beach and an easy walk to town. The home is more lovely than the pictures depict and well sized for our group of 6. Meg provided beach tags, as well as bikes and lots of other beach items for the week. We hope to return next year!

Summary: My family rented this for Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. The house is lovely and is prefect size for our group of 5. Nice big deck out back and well equipped kitchen. It is in a great location walkable to town and easy stroll to Beach. The owner was easy to reach and very helpful.

Summary: Our family of 5 recently spent a week here in Stone Harbor. I grew up spending my summers in Avalon and have not been back to the island in 15 years. The week was great. Meg the owner was fantastic to work with and the house was splendid. The owners provide all the beach things you need: tags, chairs (I think I counted 9), cooler for the beach, umbrella, wagon to transport to the beach, and plenty of kids toys. The house is perfect for a family of 5 - kids (11, 9, 6). The house is older - not like the multi million dollar mansions and somethings are dated in the house but it was immaterial. The location is perfect - (2 blocks from beach and a lifeguard on the 101st beach. They are every 3 or so blocks so if you live on a beach where there is no guard, you have to walk several blocks to get in the water) and 5 blocks to the center of town. We are looking forward to coming back.

Summary: We had a great time and would highly recommend this home. It was well equipped, comfortable, close to the beach and town, great outdoors space for breakfast or dinner on the patio and nice front porch to relax and watch the "world" go by! Beds were comfortable. Owner was great to work with and very attentive to my questions. When we arrived the refrigerator was having an issue which was repaired very quickly! We give this home two thumbs up!

Summary: This was our first time staying at this house. It was wonderful. The description on this site is accurate, the owners were a pleasure to deal with, the house was charming, and we would definitely stay here again.
