Along with 2 restaurants, this smoke-free hotel has a full-service spa and a 24-hour fitness center. Free WiFi in public areas, free valet parking, and a free beach shuttle are also provided. Additionally, a bar/lounge, a snack bar/deli, and a rooftop terrace are onsite.
The Reeds at Shelter Haven offers 58 accommodations with iPod docking stations and safes. Beds feature Frette Italian sheets and premium bedding. Refrigerators and coffee/tea makers are provided. Bathrooms include showers with rainfall showerheads, bathrobes, designer toiletries, and hair dryers.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay here. Service was outstanding, rooms were beautiful and spa services were amazing. Location is perfect and we can’t wait to visit the Jersey Shore again!

Summary: When I checked in, I was given a room that was not originally assigned to me. Although it was an upgrade, I questioned the change and hotel staff told me that no this was fine and was the room I was supposed to get. After two nights of my three nights stay I get a phone call from the front office, telling me I need to check out of this room as it has been promised to someone else. Do not misunderstand, I was staying in a room that was very nice, but did not reflect the rate I paid as I paid a lower rate but… I questioned this two times and was told it was OK… Until it wasn’t . The hotel tried to compensate us with another room but by this time I had had enough. Moving to another room for one night was out of the question. I have never felt more uncomfortable ever. I have been coming to the Avalon/Stone Harbor area for over 35 years and have never been this disappointed
