Summary: The house itself is lovely, and we enjoyed the easy access to so much beachfront right out the deck and down the boardwalk. It had everything we needed for meals at the house--with the exception of a coffee pot. As we unpacked our first day, we realized there was no coffee pot with the coffee maker. We let Vacasa know after not finding one in the dishwasher or cabinets. We were assured by four different people via text & app that it would be taken care of ASAP. And, I was impressed with the guest care--four quick replies! However, on our last day, we still did not have a coffee pot. Thankfully, there is a very cute bakery, The Lighthouse Bakery, not too far away, so we went there daily to get our morning coffee. Not on our original agenda, but it worked out okay. Getting a coffee pot to the rental does not seem like it would be a difficult fix, so I'm not sure how it never got done. Hopefully, it will be taken care of for the next guests! (Also, if we had ended up speaking with someone, we also would have let them know that the water filter on the refrigerator dispenser needs to be changed--the red indicator light comes on when you press the button for water. And, that might be the reason the water comes out of the dispenser at a trickle?). We really did enjoy our stay and the property--it was just those couple little things that needed tending to--and seem super easy to fix!

Summary: My family enjoyed a very nice stay here for spring break. The house was great, the beach was amazing and private… Everything we hoped for except one thing…the internet and WiFi issues that we were told were normal and couldn’t be resolved. Cellular was also spotty so we couldn’t use our hotspots. This made it difficult to watch family movies on a few nights and impossible to work remotely.

Summary: Photos need to be updated. This home is no longer right on the water. There’s now a levee with a wooden walkway to get to the beach. It’s 1-2 football fields away now.We had older people with us and chose a house ON the water with a short walk just like we do every year. False advertisement. There’s a ZERO percent chance I’d have booked this home knowing this in advance. Once you’re there, it’s too late because there’s nothing else available. This home should now be priced like the ones on the bay side since it’s just as far away from the beach. Vacasa also needs to provide gate cards for each vehicle you have. The home itself is very nice, beautiful, and in great shape. It gets 2 stars because of the location which is no longer ON the beach as advertised.

Summary: Amazing house and views! Loved that there was a bathroom for every bedroom. It was well equipped for cooking. Loved the porch, great for early morning coffee. We saw dolphins a couple times. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded.

Summary: This house has a terrific layout and is in a gated community adjacent to an audubon nature preserver with wonderful walking trails. Plenty of room to cook and spread out for family indoors. The deck was a huge plus as it accommodated us in both sunshine and rain. Terrific views of the Gulf with frequent spotting of dolphins. Unfortunately, our timing could not have been worse as the beachfront in front of this development was closed due to a major beach reclamation project. As a result, we had to drive to other parts of the island for beach access. The reclamation project will be spectacular once compelte and this house may be one of the most attractive on the entire island at that point.

Summary: Loved everything about our stay, especially the location! Private beach front property with a beautiful view of sunset. Home is comfy, spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Lots of fun activities on the island like swimming, fishing, bicycling, exploring nature on golf carts, visiting the bird sanctuary and hopping on the Ferry for a day trip. Will def be back again.

Summary: If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life, there is no where better to do so. To be able to wake to a sunrise and end the day with a sunset, these views can’t be beat. The home itself is so cozy and has everything you could possibly need. You will not regret staying at this special gem of a spot. And…it’s dog friendly!!!

Summary: Really loved the cleanliness of the home and how new it was. Loved it being right on the beach. This is our second time staying on the island and we have no complaints!! Loved experiencing Fort Gaines and walking the Aquarium again. All rooms had their own bathrooms. So no one had to share and that was nice. The table on the porch was nice and the chairs. Highly recommend this home!
