Positive: The cottage is charming, cosy and well-located for those looking for some time off the beaten track, in one of the most beautiful parts of North Wales. The kitchen is well-equipped to cook dinners at home and the second larger fridge provides lots of storage space if you want to do one big food shop before arriving. The sea/beach is less than 5 minutes away on foot and the Ty Coch Inn (a charming local pub on the sea) is a 20-minute stroll along the coast. The sunsets from the golf course are outstanding and well worth the winds! We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend!
Negative: The only aspect we picked up on was that the kitchen hadn't been cleaned very well. The rest of the place was clean, but I think the cleaning team rushed the kitchen (fridges were dirty, utensils in the drawers not clean etc.) Given how perfect everything else was, we just put everything through the dishwasher and forgot about it! But hopefully the agency can make a point of discussing this with the cleaning firm for future guests. One other aspect to consider is the master bedroom, upstairs, doesn't have great blinds and it has huge windows. So, for anyone sensitive to light, the wake-up is early!

Positive: Having the downstairs bedroom and bathroom worked well for our elderly mother. The property is in an excellent location.

Negative: The ONLY thing that could have been improved but really wasn’t an issue was the shower pressure wasn’t very strong.

Positive: Location excellent with just a 5 minute walk to the excellent ‘Cliff’ bar/restaurant. Very well stocked cost cutter 2 mins down the road. We love this area (I’m from here) so know it very well - the circular walk down Porth Dinnlaen is a favourite. House was absolutely immaculately clean, smelt lovely and fresh and was well equipped with all you’d ever need including helpful things like a bbq, beach chairs and gorgeous fluffy towels. Lack of parking was not an issue at all as we found a spot easily enough.
