Summary: Very fun well decorated hotel with communal spaces. Unfortunately we only stayed for 2 nights, 1 day, and there was a problem and no hot water for that day. We called the reception and they confirmed they were aware, but still no hot water until the next morning when we were leaving.

Summary: This was a beautiful hotel. Very futuristic in design. The location is amazing and very walkable to all of the restaurants and shops. Staff were super friendly and helpful. If we visit Brussels again we will stay here again for sure

Summary: Cardo makes a great first impression. The quirky artwork gives the hotel real personality and it looks every bit the stylish lifestyle hotel Marriott wants it to be. Unfortunately, the "autograph" seems to stop at the décor. The room exposed some surprisingly poor maintenance. Every socket and light switch was sitting at a jaunty angle, as though loose in the wall. Far worse was the strong smell of damp and sewage in the bathroom and entrance area. Plaster in the anteroom was damp and peeling away from the wall, the skirting boards showed signs of water damage, and the reason became obvious when I spotted a crack in the shower tray. Housekeeping may have missed the crack, but the smell and damp should have made it obvious that something was wrong. Reception seemed genuinely surprised when I mentioned it at checkout. Breakfast was disappointing. The scrambled eggs looked brown rather than yellow, the melon tasted fizzy, and each morning a screaming child was allowed to run riot. The location suited my event and most staff were friendly. The exception was the burly gentleman who checked me in, who behaved as though guests were an inconvenience. A hotel full of character, but for an Autograph Collection property, the signature seems to be on the artwork rather than the maintenance log.

Summary: Picked this hotel for location and a/c. Location was great. A/c was pretty bad. My first room was awful, and three different desk agents gave me three different explanations. Eventually I was moved to a new room, which was much nicer…except it too periodically got muggy. Also, the hotel has a really annoying wifi system that demands that you keep on logging in, which is a problem for certain kinds of tasks, and a nuisance in general.

Summary: Breakfast was awesome. Super accommodating for allergies and diets. The room was beautiful and clean but there were some defects specifically in the restroom, the sink and shower both had the drain covers removed because they wouldn't drain otherwise. Minimal aesthethic problem that was ignores but a surprise nonetheless in a 4☆

Summary: Clean and stylish hotel with a great location to explore the city. Friendly staff. Pool in the 31st floor was a nice plus, especially when it was +37°C outside. The temperature was also the only real downside of this hotel, as our room was 25-29°C.

Summary: Awesome place to stay in Brussels. Rooms have much art and design, character and style. Pool is awesome and fantastic place to see the sun set on the 31st floor. Only minus if the air con failed

Summary: THe location is perfect, next to MetroRogier, 5 min walk from Brussels North Station (one station from the airport), and 10 min walk to the city centre. THe hotel has a large gym with 6 treadmills and other equipment and a swimming pool on the roof top. Everything is spacious including the room. The staff is friendly, but not responding well. For example, the shower and sink are not draining to make flooding of water to the entire bathroom and the living room. I mentioned this to the reception desk several times, but not fixed. Room cleaner forgot something almost every day.-- all are minor things, but annoying.
