Summary: As a group of friends, we spent a week in Francisco's beautiful house and had an outstanding experience. This house has everything you need plus some extras (like a pool billiards table). Enjoy great views, pleasant rooms, unforgettable sunsets and a nice pool area. Also, Francisco has been a very good and friendly host. Among other things, he gave us some very useful recommendations for exploring the area. We would definitely love to come back.

Summary: The house is somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but that's not a disadvantage at all, because the location is fantastic, just like the house. Due to the remote but central location, day trips are possible without any problems. While we were out most of the time, driving back to this beautiful home was almost like coming home for us. Francisco really takes good care of everything, is always available and still has some plans for the house. We wish him every success and all other visitors an equally wonderful stay.

Summary: We had a lovely week staying here in May, pool was a little chilly but we still swam, house was very cosy and comfortable, and its within easy reach of several excellent local restaurants (a 5 min drive), beaches and sights - we easily managed day trips to Lisbon, Sintra etc. Francisco the owner was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Summary: We stayed at the villa for a week in Aug 2022 with our two young children and had a very lovely time. The villa is in a quiet, secluded, scenic area - we felt incredibly peaceful there. It is close to amenities (a short drive away) and several beaches (all a drive away). Although the villa is outdated, it is well appointed clean and very functional. The swimming pool was a definitie bonus, but the water was rather cold. We found Francisco endlessly helpful, he gave us tips on local sites and restaurants - a kind and considerate host. The best thing about this villa is it's location and it's stunning views. We watched the sunset from the balcony on most nights whilst the evening light flooded the ground floor. It's a great spot for exploring Sesimbra - a car is a must for this.

Summary: The property is comfortable and equipped with all necessary items for your holidays. It is relatively remote (accessible mainly by car), being located in a site of outstanding natural beauty, near the beach, forest area and Cabo Espichel. Francisco was a welcoming host ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. A great place to rest and re-charge.

Summary: It's obvious that Francisco and his family live in the house, given that the kitchen was so well provided with everything that we needed to prepare a full meals. The spacious main floor has two used, but attractive and superbly comfortable leather sofas facing an outside balcony with views to Lisbon and as far out as Caiscais and the hills of Coimbra. We watched the fireworks on New Year's eve, and could identify the Praca de Commercial! It was cool at night, so we used the large, efficient fireplace every night. There is a huge leather covered trunk filled with firewood. Our adult children "briefly" used the pool every day, and jogged down to the beach and back before breakfast. We appreciated the card table for doing jigsaw puzzles. We did not find that Francisco was obtrusive. He was very helpful and courteous. The top bedroom is under a sloping roof so in parts, it has a low ceiling . That didn't bother my 6' husband and me, but one has to be careful. We highly recommend this property.

Summary: We stayed as a family and very much enjoyed our time. The property is in a beautiful location, in the middle of nature, with fantastic view of pine trees and the ocean. Our family enjoyed the pool, playing and eating outside under the trees, and watching the sunset everyday in the balcony. The house is not very large, but it is functional and the three levels work well, although the sound does pass on vertically. The property is a couple of km from very nice beaches and several good restaurants where you can eat, or take out and eat at home. The Internet is very reliable and fast, which is great, but some of the kitchen appliances are a bit dated. The owner is responsive, very nice and helpful. But he is quite present, regularly taking care of the pool and watering, which constrains your sense of privacy. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely return.

Summary: We had a very nice stay. The property is comfortable and very well located. The setting is beautiful, only view of ocean and pines forest. The swimming pool is in a cosy private surrounding slightly down from the main house. On the downside : the owner is very kind but we felt a bit too present, coming 3 times in a week to water the garden without warning / asking and staying one night in the smaller house sitting 30 feet behind the rental; furnitures are globally fine though a bit old and sometimes not in perfect shape (shower curtains, some mirrors, some kitchen elements) ; outside lights cannot be turned-off at night and there is no light on the way to and around the pool, preventing from night swimming. Overall we warmly recommend the property as a good quality/price for a family of up to 6, comfortable and in wonderful setting.
