This lovely holiday home has been recently renovated, and several amenities have been added to create the cosiest atmosphere, which is enhanced by the use of vintage decoration and modern appliances. You and your family can spend here your holidays, surrounded by smooth hills, olive yards, and just 20 km from the gorgeous beaches of the Costa Tropical. The property is distributed into a two-storey house and a pretty outdoor area overlooking the surrounding landscape.
The split-level, ground floor of the house is where you will share unforgettable moments of fun with your family. The lower level was closed during the renovation, thus creating a gorgeous, double height dining-living room with full windows that open onto the fabulous patio. A fully equipped galley corner and a dining table occupy the rest of the floor. Upstairs, you will find the bedrooms area, consisting of two bedrooms with a double bed and one with a single bed, and two bathrooms with shower. Warm/cool air-con and electric radiators are provided in the house, as well as a fireplace in the kitchen area.
The patio of the villa features several corners where you and your family can enjoy the fresh breeze that comes from the nearby hills and the warm sunshine that characterises Andalucia. You will find a pergola sheltering an area for “al fresco” dining, an elevated private pool with a relaxing water jet, several sun loungers that allow you to sunbathe and a poolside, covered chill-out area. The location of the latter makes it the perfect viewpoint to rejoice in the natural landscape that extends before your eyes. There also are a grassed space and a BBQ/oven/grill area to help you make the most of your free time. An outdoor toilet is also provided.

Summary: Wij hadden een fantastisch verblijf. Heel mooie accommodatie , supertof en met veel liefde en smaak ingericht. Alles is voorzien. Heel netjes. Er staat een avocado- en citrusboom waarvan je heerlijke slaatjes kan maken. Een prachtig uitzicht met zwembad met een watervalletje... kortom wij zaten 2 weken in een paradijs. Inderdaad de laatste 100m een zeer steil stuk, toch even wennen. Maar met een goede chauffeur is dit zeker ok. Je hebt zeker een eigen wagen nodig. Strand op ongeveer 20 minuten rijden (Motril of Salobreña) Een heel rustige ligging. Hier kom je echt tot rust. Begin augustus zijn er een paar dagen Feria, dit zijn dorpsfeesten, heel leuke sfeer. Dan is het wel even minder rustig. Maar de rust komt snel terug. Goed contact met de eigenaars, heel vriendelijke mensen. Wij vinden het alvast een aanrader en komen zeker terug!

Summary: Wir haben vierzehn Tage in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Wenn man das schöne blaue Hoftor durchschreitet ist man in einem kleinen Paradies. Der Garten, der Pool und die Sitzmöglichkeiten sind sehr schön. Durch die Lage am Steilhang, hatten wir meistens etwas Wind, was auch bei hohen Temperaturen das Draußen sein ermöglichte. Es gibt aber auch genügend Schattenplätze. Der Pool ist sehr schön und wir haben besonders am Abend den Wasserfall und das Lichtambiente genossen. Vier Personen finden problemlos einen Platz im Außenbereich, er ist mehr als groß genug. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das alle Räume eine Klimaanlage haben, war besonders für die Nacht sehr gut. Auch an Equipment ist alles da, inkl. großem Fernseher mit dt. Kanälen. Kleines i-Tüpfelchen sind der Avocado- und Zitronenbaum. Damit sind die Hälfte der Zutaten für ein Abendessen da. Die Lage in dem kleinen Ort ermöglicht am Abend kleine Spaziergänge. Die kleine Venta am Ende des Ortes (fünf Minuten Gehzeit) bietet eine kleine aber sehr schmackhafte Auswahl an spanischen Speisen. Wir waren dort öfter zum Abendessen.

Summary: Die Unterkunft ist sehr Sauber und gepflegt, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Vermieter hat für alles gesorgt. Er war sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Die Lage an sich war für uns etwas zu weit auf den Bergen aber wer seine komplette Ruhe haben möchte ist dort super aufgehoben. Man kann von dort aus verschiedene schöne Orte,Strände und Städte super erreichen.

Summary: Lo que más nos gustó de la casa fue el jardín con vistas a todo el valle, no queríamos hacer otra cosa que desayunar durante horas en la gran mesa del porche y pasarnos todo el día allí! Se está super tranquilo y a gusto, no hace demasiado calor en verano al estar un poquito en la montaña, alejado del barullo de la playa y está muy resguardado además de no tener vecinos. Hay paseos geniales por el valle y está muy cerca tanto de Granada como de la playa para pasar unos días relajándose en el sur. Queremos volver!!

Summary: Friends had told us that we should pass by Los Guajares on our way from Granada to the Cost (we were on our way to Almuñécar). We spend three days (two nights) in this valley in this very lovely and beautifully decorated house, with beautiful views, and a really nice pool, owned by a very friendly and hospitable couple: Trini, who is Spanish, and Mark, who is German but has a well-developed sense of humour (and speaks English). What a pity that we had to leave. Two nights is way too short. This is an ideal place to spend a long holiday (also because it is so near to the coast) and we will certainly come back. We had a long walk along the Rio de la Toba and to the ruins of an old Moorish castle , we had a lovely walk and picnic above Guajar Alto with stunning scenery all around us. We even picked some avocado’s and mango’s (we had to take them with us, for they took more than a week to ripe)! And we had a simple but delicious Spanish afternoon meal in Guajar Alto. From the terrace of the house we had great views of the bright starry sky. We felt so much at home! Wish we were still there.
