Summary: Stefan and Naomi have created a little paradise in this authentically rebuilt village house. The (shared) rooftop patio, cave jacuzzi (bit too cool in october) and garden courtyard were magical and the units were very well finished. The unit was larger than pictures suggested. Great base for our week of exploring ang road cycling.

Summary: Property is beautiful. Restoration is very well done with lots of nice touches. We'll equipped and plunge pool and terrace we're a great place to chill. Village is quiet and remote but welcoming. You need to be able to manage stairs OK. The village and property has lots of them. Tha is for a great stay Stefan and Naomi.

Summary: It was nice to be in a small Spanish village. Very comfortable. It was a bit cold, so we were glad to have a wood burning stove for a couple of evenings. The deck on top is full of warm sunshine during the day. It was difficult to think about going anywhere else. We did have a great 3 hour walk up to some great ruins and through the other nearby town. Great loop. An hour drive to a tour of the Alhambra in Grenada. We also drove through the mountains on one of our favorite "shortcuts" on our way to Seville. Looks like lots of hiking and adventuring to be had. This is a great place to get some relief from the big cities and crowds. Thanks, Stefan and Naomi.

Summary: We had a lovely time in the house - we rented both parts of the house so didn't have any of the 'sharing' woes I read in the previous reports. The selling feature, the cave plunge pool, did not disappoint, the kids absolutely loved it. We enjoyed relaxing evenings on the terrace and slept well on comfortable beds.

Summary: We have been welcome by Stefan and Naomi.the house has been transformed with love and courage.we regret a few things = no air conditionned, and thé température is high....thé house is far from thé place where we can park the car and it is hard when you have luggage and food to take with you.and thé most important we shared the space with another family.it would be Nice to announce thèse details .for the rest no problem.

Summary: Our 2-night stay at Casa Del Sol was a wonderful experience. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Stefan and Naomi. They showed us the property, answered all our questions, and suggested hikes and places to see in the area. Their property has two units: Del Sol (which we stayed at) and Estrella (which was vacant during our stay). In effect, we had complete privacy the entire two days. The property which Stefan and Naomi built from a ruin is stunning. The design and construction show great imagination and use of space, as well as wonderful artistic touches all around. Del Sol is very well equipped and furnished. Everything is immaculately clean and in perfect working order. The inner courtyard and the roof-top terrace are full of beautiful plants and flowers. The entire area is a bird-lovers paradise. No one we met in the village (except for our hosts) spoke any English, but everyone was super friendly and kind. The walk to the ruins of the hilltop Castillo is not to be missed: it is incredibly scenic and offers stunning views. Del Sol was our base for visiting Granada and Alhambra (45 min drive). The drive to the coast takes about the same time, and all roads in the area are very well maintained and spectacularly scenic.

Summary: This was our second visit to Stefan and Naomi's accommodation in Faraguit. We stayed in La Cueva last year, El Sol this year. We loved it so much last year, we invited family members to join us this year, they stayed in La Cueva. El Sol is smaller that La Cueva, but is equally fabulous in its design and the facilities provided. The properties differ in layout and size, but are designed with the same care to detail, and bring their own unique qualities. Spotlessly clean! I particularly liked the very comfortable lounge area in El Sol, which was very welcome after our long, strenuous walks, of which there are many in the region. The village, in which the accommodation is located, is typically Spanish, and no-one speaks English, which we love. Don't let this put you off, the villagers are extremely friendly, saying 'Hola' as you pass, and you'll find a way to make yourself understood. Unfortunately we experienced a great deal of heavy rain during our visit, the up side - this meant we were 'encouraged' to do other things, and boy did we find some wonderful places. Here are some I would recommend: - Cabo de Gata, a fantastic, well populated nature reserve on the furthest south east point, by Almeria. The area also hosts the longest, most deserted beach I have ever seen! - Granada, where you will find the amazing Alhambra. Don't expect access to the palace unless you have booked well in advance. So much to see and do however, it really is worth a visit. Use the open bus to tour the city and stop off to see things, such fun. 'La Teteria del Banuelo' cafe, on the main street by the river, comes highly recommended, wonderful Arabic coffee and the waffles are to die for! - Frigiliana, a small town to the north of Nerja. A truly beautiful town with phenomenal views, great places to eat/ drink, and lots of lovely shops - Mini Hollywood, ignore the tourist part (unless you like that kind of thing), experience the amazing walk through the canyon where A Fistful of Dollars, and The Good the Bad and the Ugly were filmed. Untouched desert land area, an experience not to be missed. And finally, if you are a wildlife fanatic you will not be disappointed. We were blessed with Short-Toed Eagles, Flamingo's, Avocets, Bee-Eaters, Golden Oriole, Black Wheatears, Toads which we are yet to identify .... need I go on. Oh, I nearly forgot, Naomi makes fabulous homemade jams and oils, available in the kitchen for sale. Book extra weight on your flight - worth it!

Summary: Excellent accommodation for a relaxing holiday home fully equipped with all the things we need for day to day, great location because it is located in a beautiful area which can be seen through a large terrace that sits on top of the house in which to make fine dining, listening to music, etc ..... all this outdoors. A small pool / jacuzzi that makes all the delights of both kids as adults. A few minutes drive have a beautiful natural pool in which ums can spend quality time with family or friends. Whole area where the house is located can choose a mountain trekking, a spin bike, rock climbing, excursions and visits the caves now just give wide as your imagination has much where to spend your free time. For lovers of the beach has beautiful beaches approximately 20 km (Salobreña beach / playa Granada). Regarding house owners are extremely friendly and attentive couple, the villagers are also very friendly. We will return in the near future for some more wonderful days and recommend to all of you. ARE WAITING TO KNOW WHAT THIS PLACE AMAZING ..........
