Positive: It was a very cozy place with all the comforts of home. Great little galley kitchen with every utensil you need for cooking. Nice gas range microwave combination. Comfortable beds with nice linens. It was a short walk through a very nice area to the Columbia Heights Metro station.
Negative: Took me a bit to figure out the shower. Had never seen that type of pull down actuator.
Summary: My daughter and I loved it! No complaints. Loved the artsy store across the street for high end snacks.

Positive: Host was very friendly and helpful. Everything were very clean and organized. Great location. Only 16-17 minutes away(by car) from major tourist attraction such as white house. Plenty of parking spots on the street.

Positive: Great place. Nicely decorated with kitchen equipment and a coffee maker.
Negative: It’s in the basement, so although the street is very cool you’ll not able to see much outside. In the backyard there’s a space to hang out, but at times it appears there’s a dog also using the yard as a restroom.
Summary: Great stay for a few days. And a great responsive host!

Positive: It's an outstanding basement-level flat with all the amenities you could possibly need. You could simply move in and live there for a few months. It was our sixth and, by far, best accommodation during our trip to the United States. The neighbourhood is also lovely, with several restaurants and pubs within walking distance; a lovely deli is only 2 minutes away. The host is friendly and easily approachable. Our only regret was that we had only reserved it for two nights! :)
Negative: Our stay coincided with some hot weather, and the air conditioning was a touch noisy at night; nonetheless, this was a minor issue affecting only one of the bedrooms.
Summary: Trully charming and comfortable flat.
