Positive: The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen clean and facilities great. Bathrooms clean and bright lighting. Lovely sitting room with view of bay and sunsets. Owner was helpful when we had inquiries before our visit. There was no sign of mold as it was remediated.
Negative: The floors were not swept when we arrived. We found it humid and had trouble figuring out the ac system to regulate it to stay dry without the living room being too cold to sit in. Being by the bay perhaps a separate dehumidifier would help. They regularly spray for bugs. Mostly dead ones lying around in corners could have been cleaned up before our visit.
Summary: It was perfect for our needs for a short vacation.

Positive: It was a beautiful view down the street from the home.
Negative: The home could use a true deep cleaning. The tub is disgusting. The back door would not lock from the outside. The sliding glass door was unlocked the entire stay. Didn't realize the door was unlocked and open until Saturday night!

Positive: Comfortable and convenient to what we were doing. Also liked being able to have space to park our boat.
Negative: We emailed host because oven and microwave did not work and we got no response.

Positive: Cozy bayside cottage across the street from a sweet, just-the-right-size community beach, park, and boat launch. Fire pit, hammock, and benches available at park. The house is positioned beautifully to watch the sun rise from the back deck and then set from the front. Friendly neighborhood. The sound of windchimes carried on the breeze. And the birds were fun to watch and listen to. Not a nature person? House had awesome wifi and smart tvs. It was impossible not to be entertained. I had one teen on nature walks while another watched movies. We enjoyed family time in the light, airy, spacious kitchen and the cute sitting room. Loved the gas grill! Didn't need the oven one bit. I spent hours on the front deck. Planned a campfire at the cottage but never got to it. There's always next time. Would love to stay here again.
Negative: Unfortunately, our cell carrier Visible does not have service in the area, nor did our phones pick on wifi calling. No idea why, but who needs the phone when your trying to get off the grid anyway?
