*A small piece of heaven - view of river front and marsh from all bedrooms, living area and kitchen. We see beautiful sun rises and moon rises. On occasions we see dolphins, sea birds and eagles. It is a nice quiet friendly neighborhood with wonderful neighbors. It is about half way between Beaufort and Bluffton off hwy 170. It is about 15 or 20 minutes to Paris Island. House is fully furnished including towels and sheets.

Summary: If you have a large group coming for a Parris Island Basic Training Graduation, this is a great place to stay. Our large family group of 12 had a grate stay here, so much better than staying in 3 cramped hotel rooms. The drive to Parris Island is about 20 min. The views of the river are fantastic. The house is a little older and showing its age, which may not be good for some people, but it is clean and comfortable, and the location is amazing.

Summary: we enjoyed our 2nd stay at this house. The location is perfect as we love to fish in the immediate area. Ms. Betty Jane is always so helpful. plan to be back next year God willing.

Summary: Had a great stay at the Chechessee River House for 3 Senior siblings and spouses. House spaces -inside and out- were great with cooler weather making the outdoors quite enjoyable all day long. Upstairs bedrooms were a little difficult for a couple of us but we just planned our day to stay downstairs as much as we could. There's a well stocked book shelf and great reading spots. Fishing from the dock and by boat produced a couple of meals for us. Location is perfect as we made trips into both Beaufort and Bluffton for shopping and dinner. Owners were very responsive. We had a wonderful week-long stay!

Summary: Walking into this house felt exactly like home. We loved the beautiful property and the dock! We spent most of our time on the porch and fishing on the dock. This was the perfect spot for us to stay for our son’s graduation. The hosts are very welcoming and kind and helpful! If we are ever in South Carolina again, we will most definitely be staying here.

Summary: This trip was for my Grandsons graduation The reason why we chose this property was because of the dock and it didn’t disappoint!! My grandson fished the whole time we were there !! He caught about 20 sharks a stingray and some other type of fish not sure what they were his girlfriend also caught several fish. The house was large and was plenty of room for my family The only negative is that the upstairs was dusty and my Grandaughter could not sleep up there because of her allergy to dust so she slept on the couch downstairs But other than that we enjoyed our stay 😊

Summary: The house was just the right size and space for a visit to the area to attend a wedding. It was homey and had all of the things we needed in the kitchen, etc. Overall, the space could use a more detailed clean as it was quite dusty and triggered allergies. The area was peaceful, and we enjoyed the scenery from the dock.

Summary: 4 generations came together and spent thanksgiving together. The house and property gave everyone plenty of space for cooking, eating, fishing, fire pit star gazing, walking, play and private times. Everyone found fun things to do. Easy access to Port Royal and Beaufort and other surrounding areas.
