Positive: We absolutely LOVED Church Cottage - it was so perfect in every way ... beautifully decorated ... well equipped kitchen ... full of character ... made our time in Bakewell all the more special by having such a homely and welcoming cottage to come back to. Great having our own parking space. We loved the personal touches from our host including the welcome cake and eats. We enjoyed the church bells beside us, especially the bell practice on Thursday evening. Location was just perfect - within walking distance round the town and we loved the food in the nearby Rutland Hotel that we ate there 3 nights in a row. Would highly recommend a stay here and would stay here again.

Positive: Church Cottage is wonderfully quirky. It is surprisingly spacious, witch two sitting rooms and a basement ‘chill out’ space. The three bedrooms, spaced over two floors, are big and very well furnished. The kitchen has been refitted to a very high standard. The location is perfect for exploring the delightful town of Bakewell. We stayed with two sets of friends to celebrate a significant birthday, and were delighted to find that the host had left us a bottle of fizz and some chocolates. Wonderful weekend!
