Positive: We were after a one-night stay as we were walking Hadrian's Wall, and The Close Hotel delivered what we wanted as it was right on the trail. The accommodation is luxurious, the food great and the surroundings, being a golf course, are super pleasing to the eye. The staff are the main benefit to a stay here – super accommodating, friendly and eager to please. We were not disappointed in any way with our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and long to return.
