A gem of a getaway! Our property is arranged for guests to feel at home while away from their home. Family friendly cottage, nestled in a quiet street in Greenport village. The private property has fully fenced backyard, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a wood burning fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, outdoor seating, and gas grill. The property is in a double lot with the main house (with 4 bedrooms) in one lot and a pool and a pool-house on the second lot. The pool house is not ready for rental and will not be accessible to guests however the heated pool is available for your use!
The bedroom descriptions are as follows:
Master bedroom is downstairs with a king bed and an ensuite.
In addition to a fully stocked kitchen, dining and laundry area, the downstairs also has a living room with another bathroom, TV, two sofas and access to a serene, private patio. The dining area has a wood burning stove for winter nights that warms up the dining space.
There are three bedrooms upstairs with two queen beds in two rooms and a set of bunk bed (a queen and a full bed) in the third bedroom. One of the queen bedrooms have an ensuite. The other two rooms share one large full bathroom.
There are two sets of stairs from downstairs to access the bedrooms upstairs.
The patio in our backyard has a bbq and dining area. Plenty of greenery in our backyard provides for room for kids to play while dinner is prepared and enjoyed outdoors.
The pool is located on the far corner of the property and has a large patio and lounges. The pool house is not yet ready and will not be available to guests.
The house is situated in a double lot property. The main house is in one lot and the second lot contains the swimming pool and a new pool house and garage. Guests have access to both lots except for the pool house and the garage.

Summary: This home was a great experience. The booking process and communication by the owner was very clear and concise and addressed all questions that a renter is looking for. The house itself is very clean and the set-up inside sleeps 8 very comfortably. The 4 bathrooms were spotless and modernized to beautiful showers, tubs as well as tiles and flooring. Air conditioners and ceiling fans helped the entire house keep cool as we had some sever heat warnings outside. Besides the beautiful house itself, the yard was very private with great bushes to create a private backyard with very nice features such as grill, fire pit area, as well as just a beautiful yard that allowed family fun with games and plenty of room. The pool was heated and very clean and a joy to be able to use both during day and at evening. The landscaping allows a tremendous amount of privacy for a house located in the small town. And lastly the location is tremendous in order to be able to walk into town and enjoy all that Greenport offers. No need to have to drive anywhere once you get to house. That being said, the driveway also has a gate that closes for anybody that worries about there car. Overall this was a great experience and the owner has a binder in kitchen that has a number of frequently asked questions and answers as well as lists of locations in Greenport that can help the vacationers plan out some trips if you are new to area. If you like attention to detail, this is the home to rent!

Summary: Perfect summer getaway with a beautiful outdoor pool. Each room has its own bathroom. House is well maintained and the property is located close to farms, restaurants, beaches and vineyards. Highly recommended with families traveling with children.

Summary: We have been long time visitors of Greenport and found this home to be the best accommodations for multiple couples since we have been coming! The kitchen is amazing and well appointed and the backyard is to die for! I only wish we would have brought some outdoor backyard games to play to capitalize on this amazing space....next year for sure!!! Harun was an excellent communicator and we couldn't have asked for anything more during our lovely weekend in Greenport. We will definitely be coming back next year, quite possibly for a much longer stay if this home is available. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Summary: My girlfriends and I rented this home for 3 nights for a vineyard weekend bachelorette party. First of all, Harun was an excellent communicator and very reasonable landlord. He promptly answered my questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is wonderful. 10 of us fit so comfortably. The home is nicely renovated with a beautiful kitchen and clean updated bathrooms. it is outfitted with almost cooking tool/appliance/utensil you would need. The backyard is enormous and the grill and seating are all nice and new. It is a ten minute walk from town which is a huge plus. On a quiet block. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FOR A BIG GROUP LOOKING TO ENJOY THEMSELVES!!!!

Summary: We came to Greenport for a wedding and booked this house for two families to share (total of 6 people). The house was in great condition. Very clean throughout. Comfortable bedding. Well equipped kitchen. Air conditioners in the bedrooms and main living room. We particularly liked sitting in the backyard, which is well kept. The photographer for the wedding took many photographs on the elegant wraparound porch. There was a BBQ, but we did not end up using it. We also liked having a separate front entry area where you could put your shoes or beach equipment. My father wished there had been more closets and suggested to the owner that a few more wardrobes might be useful in the bedrooms without closets. One of my parents has trouble with stairs, so it was useful that there was a master suite on the ground floor for her use. Communication with the owner was quick and helpful. Also, you are close enough to walk to the center of town (about 10-15 minutes depending on your pace).

Summary: My husband and I and our 3 grown children stayed here during the week of my sister-in-law's wedding. Could not have found a more perfect place! The charming house was so convenient to everything -- town, local sights and vineyards, etc. Harun is an amazing host; very responsive and clearly takes pride in his beautiful home. While we were there, the huge backyard (which was beautiful to begin with) was getting a facelift. Would love to see it once all is done. What a treat to have a double lot! Interior of house has plenty of space for people to have privacy, plenty of bathrooms (a must with 3 women trying to get ready for a wedding!), and the new kitchen was beautiful with just about everything you would need. Although we didn't need anything for little ones, there was a booster seat available, and child locks for lower cabinets. My only suggestions for improvements are: a cookie sheet for the kitchen and sturdy hooks on bedroom doors and in the bathrooms to hang clothes (since closet space is limited). Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Let me just start out by saying the pictures do not do this place justice. This place was very recently updated and is very clean, floors looked brand new, beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen was beautiful and wood burning stove added nice ambiance. Backyard was huge with plenty of space for outdoor activities and bbq'n. Only about a 10 minute walk into town. Harun the owner was awesome. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely stay again.

Summary: I walked in to the house and knew immediately it was perfect perfect perfect. Easy walk into charming Greenport, did so each morning for cup of coffee and breakfast. But if not in mood to stroll into town so early, the kitchen is big and very well appointed with all required appliances , pots and pans to prepare a feast. Plenty of parking in town in case you dont want to walk. Shelter island ferry a few blocks away. Don't miss the Wilderness preserve on the island, it's peaceful and tucked away. Huge yard and lovely porch to relax. Great tv room, 4 roomy bedrooms each with access to its own bathroom, 2 bedrooms share a bright big bathroom. Shopping, wineries, fruit and veg stands, bike riding. I wish I didn't have to leave.

Summary: Our first visit to Greenport and the Maritime Festival was great. House was very comfortable for 6 adults and was an easy walk to town. This house is super clean and the beds in the two main bedrooms are very comfortable. Bunk bed mattresses were adequate but mattress on futon in 4th bedroom was rather thin and hard. Bathrooms are wonderful with plenty of hot water for everyone. Living room is comfortable for tv viewing. A small tv in the bedroom would be a nice addition for children wishing to watch a dvd. A few suggestions to renters....this house does not provide a coffee maker so bring your own or be prepared to buy coffee every morning. Reading lamps next to beds are limited. There is only one closet for hanging clothes in the 3rd bedroom and no hooks on the walls in the other bedrooms. We had to hang clothing from the curtain rods. Sheer curtains are hung at the bedroom windows so be prepared to wake up early with the sun. Some comfortable lawn furniture on the porch and/or in the yard would have been nice as the weather was beautiful. We brought fold-up kitchen chairs outside. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. With the few additions noted above, the house would be perfect.
