Summary: We stayed for five days in mid-November. I love coming here because it's so close, but you feel as if you're far away from home. (I live in southeastern CT, a ferry ride away.) The property is clean and well-tended, and the owner has decorated in a unique, creative way. Everything is comfortable, with interesting touches throughout the cottage. The water view is fantastic, and the main part of town is a pleasant walk away, less than a mile. I can't say enough about how helpful Pat, the host, is. He is full of local information and more than happy to make suggestion or give directions. My friend and I had a lovely, relaxing few days in this beautiful place, and we can't wait to visit again in the spring. I highly recommend these accommodations to anyone, whether for a short or an extended stay. It's a great setting for reunions or family events, as well.

Summary: The chicken coop (cottage) gives you all the beach vibes! The colour theme in the cottage, the decor, the artwork, the layout, the big open windows in the main bedroom. The property gives you beach vibes as well as the old farm/country feel. Everything we wanted and more! If you're lucky enough to meet Pat, he will give you a full history lesson on the property and definitely ask him about the paintings in the cottage. Trust me. Definitely returning soon.
