Summary: My wife and I were in Gainesville for our daughter’s graduation. Our stay was terrific. The house was close to everywhere we wanted to be, quiet, and very comfortable. Communication from Gerald was just the right amount. The home was well appointed with necessary kitchen items and the bed and shower were great.

Summary: I had such an amazing time staying here. Unfortunately, the circumstances were not great because our little dog was at University of Florida Vet Clinic.The Host was amazing, giving me time to decide my dates, sending information on questions I had, within a couple minutes. I didn’t have to wait hours for a reply. The house is older which I love!! To be an older house, the cleanliness was impeccable!! Not a drop of dust from the celing to the baseboards to be seen. This tells me they take very good care of this home. Driving back and forth from UF, I saw several restaurants, bars, stores...within just a minute or so from the place, even within walking distance. Nice big fenced in yard too. I highly recommend this place if you are headed to this area in Gainesville. We hope to come back and take advantage of everything around. Great college town!!

Summary: We are so thankful to have started in such a nice place. The little touches were amazing. We needed to stay a week after we sold our home before we could move to our new home and we loved it here. Loved the fenced yard for our pups. Loved the spacious parking. Thank you for having us!

Summary: The host was very accommodating and communicative. He provided so many thoughtful touches (snacks, spices, extra blankets, etc.) and made my stay so comfortable and easy. The bed was comfortable and everything was functional and clean. I really enjoyed my time there but was a little disappointed with the neighborhood. The neighbors across the street have a large boat in the front yard and the house next to them is being overtaken with weeds. Some of Duck Pond was absolutely beautiful with stately older homes but it was a little spotty with some derelict properties scattered throughout.

Summary: Located on an expansive lot with trees and flowers it was a quiet getaway for a Chicagoan. Yet it was also with walking distance of duck pond's beautiful homes, parks, and downtown Gainesville/ U of F so you got two experiences in one place. The home itself had everything you could need, with plenty of coffee sleeping area, TV's and even a little Rhumba vacuum.

Summary: We had an uneventful (which is good) stay here! We arrived a little later than expected, but had zero problems getting in. House was older and I’m a little sensitive to smells, but I acclimated just fine. Shower was good. Owner was very prompt in communicating and attentive to any need one might have. We didn’t spend much time there because we were always doing something with our daughter out and about, but I did make my husband play a provided kids board game Sunday before we left! :)
