Situated 3 short miles from Defiance/near the Katy Trail. Guests can enjoy an afternoon of biking or winery and later watch the sunset from park-like backyard.

Summary: My husband and I were visiting from California, attending a small wedding in Augusta. What a fantastic property!! The house is so comfortable, beautifully decorated, and immaculate. Truly one of the cleanest vacation rentals we've experienced. The host was delightful and so accommodating. It's very close to some very lovely wineries as well. And you're not far from some very good food if you don't want to take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen. We highly recommend this home.

Summary: We had a lovely 4 night stay at this property. It exceeded my expectations. The house is decorated so nicely and beds are SO comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a family meal. We will definitely rent again!

Summary: Relaxing getaway - clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for our stay. Patio is great for hanging out and grilling. Good location to get to all the amenities in the area. Owners were wonderful and made sure everything was perfect! Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We 100% loved this home! We would recommend to anyone, it is hard to even list everything we loved, but we can try. The house was spotless, the kitchen was full of everything you could need to cook.The setting was beautiful - we spent a lot of time roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and swinging in the hammock. The owners were beyond attentive and helped us with small items during our trip and even came over to help us remove and store a luggage rack from our car. We rent a lot as we travel around the country and this was our favorite home so far. Everything just made it feel like home! You would love this property and these owners if you are looking for a great spot to unwind in Missouri! Oh, I almost forgot; they even left the kids some milk and cookies on the day of our arrival - such a thoughtful touch!
