Positive: I like the location of this hotel. Easy to get to other areas and close to places that are convenient when traveling such as gas stations, food options and easy access to main interstates in the area.
Negative: Traveling with a small dog and made reservations several months back. Called to confirm about 3 months ago. When we arrived for check in I was informed that they no longer allow pets. I specifically called in July to double check that they took pets. After a heated exchange I was allowed to stay with my dog. However I was treated like this was my fault in the first place. If their pet policy changed I should have been contacted to make other arrangements prior to my arrival. The hotel was also under construction. The beds were hard and the room was small. There was some sort of sports event in the area. The hotel was packed and very loud. Kids yelling in the hallway most of the night. The breakfast looked good however it was so loud and crowded we couldn’t even hear ourselves think. There is only 1 elevator that was constantly packed. We had to wait through several full elevators to get to the lobby. I was in a ADA room due to my disability, yet I was placed on the 4th floor with only the one elevator and not able to use the stairs due to my physical challenges. You would think if the hotel was full those who physical challenges would be offered first floor accommodations. Not well thought of when you know that the hotel will be full. We ended up checking out early. Will never stay here again.
Summary: Stressful stay, do not recommend staying here.
