Summary: Great location for the Katy Trail and wineries nearby. The beds were super comfortable and had great sheets and pillows. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you would need. We could sit on the front porch and hear live music from across the street.

Summary: We rented all four of these units. This unit is the second of the main floor units. My mother in law stayed in this unit and it was perfect. The unit was quiet and beautifully maintained. I cannot say enough about the beds and bedding. These may be the most comfortable beds any of us have ever slept in!!

Summary: A friend and I met up for the weekend. This rental is really impeccable. Extremely clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed for an amazing weekend! The area was beautiful and the wines were very good. Every person we encountered was so friendly. Defiance is a great central spot to stay in the area. Right in the Katy trail with food and wineries very close by.

Summary: We enjoyed our 3 nights in this area! It was a wonderful property, very cute & cozy. We had 3 generations staying here and we played a lot of games at the large kitchen table. The pull-out couch mattress was very worn-down, but outside of that everything else was in great condition. There is a coffee pot, but no coffee, so bring your own grounds if that is a must for the AM, as there is no coffee shop nearby. The property was well-stocked with plates/towels/blankets/etc and check-in and check-out instructions were very clear.

Summary: the property was smaller than expected and the lay out was not conducive to socializing. think shotgun house, living room in the front, kitchen in the back and 2 bedrooms in the middle.

Summary: I had a good experience that would have been excellent had I realized the communication would be through Evolve instead of VRBO. It all worked out and was more my fault than theirs. Once I knew who to contact, all was well. The rental was super clean and cute. The big thing missing was coffee, and with no local restaurant serving breakfast, that was a bummer and caused a delay getting on the bike trail because we had to drive into Chesterfield to have breakfast (and coffee). I would definitely stay again. The Good News Brewery was a gem!
