Positive: Breakfast was not included here. Our hostess was most welcoming and very friendly. I particularly appreciated the fact that she let us check in early because of the storm. Thanks, Storm Floris! The electricity was off for a little while, but she offered to make us some boiling water from the gas stove, which was very much appreciated. The room was cosy and the bathroom was great. Not sure if the floor had underfloor heating, but it was really good! It was a nice touch to have a fridge provided in the room and cutlery and a table and chairs as well, for if you were doing your own food.

Negative: The bed was a little firm for my liking, but that is a preference thing, rather than a comment on what was actually provided.

Summary: Very welcoming and friendly host, who does her best to make you feel at home.

Positive: Very nice room and spacious. Great to have a small fridge, crockery and utensils provided to use for breakfast as it is not included at this property. A lovely welcome from our host.

Negative: The property is a little away from walking distance to shops and food places so having a car would be preferable. Our mattress was really firm, but if you don’t mind this it would not be a problem.
