Positive: Fabulous property. Truly amazing. Huge room that’s decorated in the traditional style. Large bed and good air con when it’s hot. Spectacular rooftop. And the best breakfast I had my entire trip in Tunisia. Family owned and operated. If you’re lucky enough you’ll get to meet the owners’ mother who gave me the biggest hug and kiss when I left
Negative: Everything was great. Currently it’s cash payment upon arrival. This was not made clear by Booking dot com. So please have enough cash on hand to pay. I had to cobble together some Euros / Dollars / Dinar as I dint travel with much cash anymore

Positive: The hotel was absolutely beautiful. All the staff were super nice—Cyrus especially did a wonderful job welcoming us to Sousse and suggesting some places to eat. The bed was huge and comfortable. And the location right in the medina was a great base for exploring Sousse. (Guests should know, however, that you have to walk about five minutes from any parking, including steps, so it’s not the most accessible with a ton of bags or for people with mobility needs.) The breakfast was really fantastic as well. Overall, one of the favorite places we stayed in Tunisia!
Negative: The room could have used a top sheet (only a heavy blanket was provided). In addition, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom.

Positive: It’s a beautiful old house. There’s a roof terrace with a great view.
Negative: The booking website said that I’d be charged half of the cost to my credit card, but the staff said that wasn’t true and I needed to pay the full amount in cash at the end. To be fair, most places outside of Tunis wanted full payment in cash, but it was confusing because I wasn’t sure if there would also be a credit card charge, according to the website. There was no one in the property at night. One staff member gave us his phone number and said we could call if we needed to. Someone came in during the day and brought new sheets (not sure why) but did not make the bed. We had to put the sheets on the bed. They also did not bring toilet paper so we had to hunt through other rooms to find some. The owner, who also just opened a restaurant around the corner, showed us to the restaurant and then decided to sit down and eat his dinner with us uninvited.
Summary: It’s a nice property, but they seem to be working out some of the logistics of running it as a hotel.

Positive: Beautiful property with fantastic decoration and style in the rooms and the exterior. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were able to advise where we should park our car. Fabulous breakfast and nice location in the medina with nice terrace and view. Staff able to give great food recommendations.

Positive: Beautiful authentic house in the Medina of Sousse. The room we had was really spacious and very comfortable. The courtyard and terraces are good spots to relax (and there is a nice view from the rooftop). The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is amazing.
