Positive: Apartment was excellent. Had everything you could think off, very comfortable, absolutely immaculate. Very good kitchen facilities, all appliances. Swimming pools and communal areas were very clean and well maintained. Staff at My Choice were very helpful, and kept us informed prior to checking in and before leaving. Very helpful on the day we locked ourselves out! We didn't want to leave and would definitely return and stay here again.

Positive: Great location. Lovely new apartments with the option of indoor heated pool for those slightly colder months. Great that it had a gym. Flat was equipped with great amenities and the agent even left basics to get you going. As a family of 4 it was also great to have the third bathroom in the flat. Outdoor space was also a great size. Flat and complex were very clean, even saw the cleaners cleaning the gym thoroughly every other day.

Negative: Very minor points but no swimming towels provided. Both outdoor rooftop pools were out of action due to maintenance (no fault of the agent). Would be great to have a self check in option rather than have to wait for the agent to come to the apartment to let you in. And lastly if the second bedroom could have the option of 2 single beds or a double it would be advantageous.

Positive: Beautiful, well appointed ground floor apartment, with everything we needed. Great parking. Location is perfect for walking to waterfront and restaurants. Big shaded verandah with table loungers etc. Small gym available. Quiet. Easy walk to supermarket too.

Negative: Very little not to like. Just flagging - the two outdoor pools had no water in them - not a big deal given time of year - but that was not advertised. Verandah does not give access to the main central garden/pool area - so you have to go out of the apartment and along the corridor to get there, which is just a bit annoying.

Summary: Great stay in fab modern well located apartment.

Positive: Great apartment in new and modern complex. The pool on the roof was nicely heated in winter, but not really deep. It was good for a nice swim though and the glass roofing made for a comfortable seating in the sun even though it was only 16degrees outside. The other three pools were empty. Checkin was a bit delayed because the admin from mychoice was in traffic. But all in all everything went smooth. The house was really comfortable. And convenient in walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Negative: In the master bedroom we had 2 nights where the neighbors were sitting outside talking late at night, which was annoying. It would have helped if the shutters worked, however these seem to be disabled in the property. The alarm system detects movement even if disabled, and lights up the bedroom with blue light. This is really annoying but was quickly fixed by throwing a towel over the sensor.

Summary: Great place! Comfortable and good location.

Positive: What a wonderful place. We really loved it here. The apartment is very luxurious and feels brand new. Olhão is a great town, with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and beautiful beaches close by.

Negative: The only thing that could be improved is the gym. It has magnificent views, but the facilities themselves could be upgraded, for instance with a sturdier squat rack, padded flooring instead of marble, and dumbbells that stay cool in the sun. During the day it gets very hot inside (like a glasshouse), and the air conditioning isn’t strong enough to keep it cool.

Summary: Fantastic, hopefully we'll be back.
