Newly built houses (February 2011), with a modern style. Located in a quiet area of the Algarve, just 2 km from the town of Olhão (seafood capital of the Algarve) district Faro and the Ria Formosa. Located in an estate of 10,000m2, with a wide view over the estuary (South) and the Serra de S. Miguel (North).
The villas are part of an old wind mill completely rebuilt, which was used to provide access to the first floor of one of the houses, it has a circular terrace where you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view.
The villas have the following divisions:
A1 - Casa Molino (the left side of the photo) - approximately 150 m2
i) On the ground floor: a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and dining room (two sofa beds) and a bathroom. The living room and kitchen are south facing, even with a large terrace equipped with tables and chairs.
ii) On 1st floor: 1 suite (double bed), bathroom and closet. A bedroom (3 beds) and a bathroom. The suite provides access to a large terrace and the room has a small balcony.
iii) At the top of the mill, with 40 m2 circular terrace where you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view.
All rooms have piped music in the house.
A2 - House 1 floor (house right photo) - approximately 100 m2
A kitchen, a living room and dining room with a sofa bed and a bathroom.

Summary: This villa exceeds expectations, the attention to detail is amazing. Where to start 5 amazing bedrooms and bathrooms. 2 kitchens fully equiped with everything you need 2 fabulous living rooms with pull out beds. Then we come to the outside space which is second to none, pool is a good size and there are no slippy areas so perfect for smaller children. Outside bar area with working fridge and sink comes in handy for extra drink and ice storage. Rui and Maria were the perfect hosts and always at the end of the phone if we needed help, nothing was too much trouble - even stocked the fridge for us as we arrived pretty late. The only issue we had was the distance to the shops you definatley need to hire a car for getting about. We recomend Fuseta beach it is paradise and lots of places to eat.

Summary: Had a super week in this stunning villa, outside space huge, pool great with heaps of seating areas. Shame no air con in main living areas as people sleeping in sofabeds struggled in heat. Wifi only plug in dongle so only really worked in main living room. House & views incredible. Hosts so lovely.

Summary: We had great holidays at Windmill Houses. The property is brand new, very beautiful and clean with all the accommodations. The location is perfect, in a very quite place with a astonishing sea view. The beaches are amazing and Olhão (10m driving) is a very typical town with a marvelous fish market. The house is ideal for a large family or a group of friends. The owners are very nice people and have done their best to make our stay a pleasant one.
