Summary: Friendly and welcoming host. Very accommodating and good at providing interesting things to see and do in the area. Lovely, peaceful garden perfect for relaxing after a full day exploring Christchurch. All in all, a great place to stay while visiting Christchurch.

Summary: Enjoyed the stay. The owners were good with information about christchurch. Bath was nice. A few more room details ie. Water jug and glass would be appreciated. The social breakfast was a highlight. Recommend

Summary: Great stay overall, very comfortable, enjoyed the social breakfasts, Chet and Steve were very hospitable and full of knowledge about the surrounding area, ready and willing to answer any questions and give suggestions for things to do.

Summary: Steve was a fantastic host! Very easy to talk with and gave great travel tips in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. It wasn’t a very far drive to get to the city center, and there are a lot of good food options nearby. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Christchurch

Summary: Steve was very friendly and helpful got sime good info about the area. The breakfast was very tasty as much toast and local jams as you wanted. Left before breakfast but Steve left us Cereals, Yoghurt and Fruit out in the kitchen area which we have not found anywhere else so gratefully appreciated. We are using buses so used Uber to get to Trans Alpine train station. Christchurch City centre is not to far to walk and the tramways are a must if you want to know about the city and the earthquakes with rebuilding.
