PROPERTY
*shared with house*
The property features over four acres of forest bordered by Stony Creek. In the center, there's an open meadow with a pond. We placed a beautiful, custom, cedar picnic table there, right next to a second fire pit. It's a wonderful place to watch nature and enjoy beautiful days.
If you walk along the creek you will get to two different spots where you can access the water. One spot has a pebble beach with a semi deep spot where you can dip in. The other entrance features a third fire pit. We have placed a small wooden platform by the creek, ideal for meditating, practicing yoga or just watching and listening to the water.
Our house neighbors the Barn. Occasionally, when we travel, we rent it out to 1 or 2 couples. Both structures are private and sit around 75 feet away from each other and 100 feet away from Broadway.

Summary: Four ladies at The Barn over the NY Sheep & Wool Festival for 3 nights. Charming décor - lovely rustic and touches of whimsy, very comfortable sleeping arrangements - each of us with our "own" sleeping space, well stocked and toasty warm wood stove. Weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside deck but I am sure that space would be terrific on summer evenings! Perfect location allowed us to walk into town for dinner - where there are several nice restaurants and a cute yarn shop. Our only "need" would be for better lighting to support our evening fiber craft activities :) but we made it work and had a delightful stay!! Thank you to our hosts!

Summary: We loved the barn, it’s setting, attention to detail and the sweet town of tivoli. Bruna is an excellent communicator and has done a beautiful renovation of the barn. Lovely walks, drives and towns nearby. We would easily return!

Summary: The owner was easy to work with and the barn was just as described. We loved how isolated it feels while still being so close to Tivoli town center and easy access to Hudson and Rhinebeck. The barn itself is perfect for a close group of friends and full of Instagram-able moments. The back yard is vast, with a lovely stream, fire pit, yoga platform and a small swimming hole which was too low for us to really use in mid-June. We had a great campfire one night, used the high-quality propane grill, and enjoyed the hammock. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We originally booked the barn to have a very small wedding elopement because it is so dreamy that tying the knot there would have been something to remember. We ended up changing our plans but decided to have a romantic getaway before the wedding and have the barn to ourselves. The barn is impecable! is clean with everything you might need, including delicious organic coffee and bathroom supplies. The attention to detail on everything (from custom made tags for shampoos and soaps in the bathroom, postcards with stamps ready to go, to logs beautifully stacked to feed the amazing stove), the decoration is rustic and hip and you can tell this place is a pride worth of such TLC. We visited in the peak of the fall and the town is beautiful! We went for a hike walking distance and popped into the local coffee shop for an amazing cup of coffee and a pastry. Bruna and Andrew checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, they are incredible hosts who go the extra mile for their guests. We arrive to a beautiful care package from them that included delicious local goodies and a cider! All they want in exchange is that you take care of their property as much as they do. We are already planning in coming back to the magical barn next year!

Summary: The barn was exactly as advertised. It is an authentically restored barn that makes you feel like you're living in the past, but with all the comforts of the present. We would awake each morning and stroll in to Tivoli, which is the most charming little Hamlet, but which also has great coffee and a gourmet food store. The barn has a great kitchen, so we were able to shop for fresh food and cook our own meals. We also built a fire in the pit outside and roasted marshmallows at night. The location is fantastic -- completely secluded and yet only a two minute walk into Tivoli. Bruna was an amazing host and very attentive to our needs. We had a great time. One tip: Beware that this is definitely a restored barn, so if you're staying with another couple, you will hear the floorboards creak when someone moves.

Summary: This was the perfect place to host our team retreat! The Barn lived up to the full description - and then some. Bruna and Andrew were incredibly responsive during the booking process, and just as much so once we were on site. I wish we had a team retreat more than once a year so we could return sooner! If you're even so much as considering visiting the Barn, do it!

Summary: The barn is lovely - a well-equipped kitchen, nice wood-burning stove, and everything exactly as described in the listing. We made two large family-style meals in the kitchen and had a great experience. The barn is an open space with curtains separating the sleeping area, so it's great for close friends. During our stay, we found some stink bugs in the sleeping area, but that's mostly because of the infest of these harmless insects in the east coast. If you can't deal with bugs, this might not be the best place for you. Bruna is a very helpful host and ready to help when we have questions, and she's on top of the rules for the barn, as they're strictly reinforced. Highly recommend this barn!
