Positive: The views are nice, it’s in a very quiet cove so that’s was relaxing. The home feels so homey and you feel like you’re in the most welcoming place.
Negative: The walkway to the dock has a huge whole in it and the dock is a little sketchy. The wood really needs to be replaced. The refrigerator is hard to get to close properly.

Negative: Well, how steep the driveway was & how steep it was to get to the fire pit. However, once there at the pit it was beautiful.

Positive: Bedrooms good size, master bath was excellent , house was well furnished and beds were comfortable. Everything was new ( not super high end but it all matched and looked nice. ) Covered deck with ceiling fan was where we spent most of our time it was really nice . Place was spotless clean when we arrived, for boaters the slip at the dock has almost 7 foot water level, so great for larger boat that needs a bit more draft depth. Our boat is 27ft and 8 ft beam fit with room to spare.
Negative: Felt the post was a bit misleading, you don’t get the entire house you only get one level of a multi floor home,we don’t feel we were lied to but in the past home rentals in the area we have always had access to entire property for a lot less money. Though out of control of the owner, we had a run in with a busybody neighbor over parking up in the turn around area which is posted “ no long term parking… unloading only , which was what I was doing at the time , while I was figuring out where I was going to unload my boat, that was for sure not going in the near vertical driveway. Again unfriendly neighbors is not something that is in control of the rental company. We know the area fairly well and more of a heads up on what my wife dubbed “ the death driveway” Would have been much appreciated. Over all we had a good time, just felt that showing a multi level home from a flattering angle wasn’t a fare representation, we brought our 3 kids and there significant others and were under the impression we could spread out a bit, but was not the case. Brent the care taker lives in the same house, he was actually in Florida, but answered my texts right away and was very nice and accommodating letting our adult kids use the 2 kayaks that where on the dock . Brent was great! Also we didn’t mind because we are out door people and didn’t know the Ozarks even had them , but we found the driveway and sidewalks to be overrun by bark scorpions at nighttime, we did not see any signs of them in the house the whole time we were there , but I could see this maybe a dealbreaker for most people, just my advice probably a good idea to pay the pest people to spray the property outside. They are not poisonous, but if your allergic to their sting it could cause some real issues. We just decided best to shake out shoes before putting them on, and at night no bare feet outside. We found they must like the heat of the driveway at night. They are harmless as long as you are aware of them.
Summary: vacations are an adventure, if your looking to have things perfect you should stay at home!
