Summary: I love the Villa Grande neighborhood and it was a joy to stay there. The house (and hot tub!) were very clean. Beds were comfy. The two issues were (1) the codes did not open the front door or garage, and we had to call Vacasa to get the lockbox code to get physical keys to get in. The door thing was loose and it was challenging to lock and unlock. (2) we had to do some laundry and while it was running, none of the sinks or showers would run any water. Otherwise it took over 5 minutes to get the water warm-hot and water pressure was generally low.

Summary: If you are looking for a quiet wooded location this is your spot. We love that this house allows us to bring our dog. The kitchen and living room are very open which is perfect for cooking, visiting, playing games, curling up with a book or watching a movie. The trees that surround the house and neighborhood are magical. We love the hot tub (replaced this year - very nice!), the beds are comfortable and amenities meet our needs.

Summary: This house was great for a short trip with my family and toddler and the proximity to the beach was wonderful. We got to use the jacuzzi and kayaks and cook some nice meals in the well outfitted kitchen (they even had a cast iron pan!). The property itself is fine but we had a horrible experience with the management company, Vacasa. I requested an early check in in advance and there was no response or follow up. The washer and shower were broken and the only option to get help from Vacasa was chatting with a Bot. Nothing got fixed, there was no discount or proposed solution to address the issues. I would advise against staying at properties that are managed by Vacasa, we won’t be doing that again.

Summary: Staying amongst the forest of redwoods was amazing! The neighborhood this home was a dream for a girls weekend away! This home is well equipped with a full kitchen two bath and two bedrooms with comfy beds. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck enjoying our wine, we cooked our first night in. We found ourselves just sitting around talking all night in the living room! In the mornings we walked the neighborhood to take in the redwood forest!! Would definitely recommend this home AND would stay again. The only downside was a guest before us had left the beach towels in the washer and they were never moved to the dryer so luckily we brought our own. Unfortunately we were not able to start the sheets and bathroom towels as required for leaving.

Summary: We actually spent most of our 10 days here away from the house, hiking, going out, and visiting friends. So we never used the hot tub or grill. Didn't get to use the beach, since the River was so high it practically wiped out the beach.

Summary: Spacious & well appointed, nestled in a forest setting. We had lively events to attend and it was wonderful to return to Summerhouse and enjoy the tranquility. Sharing afternoon wine on the porch was a gift.

Summary: We spent 4 nights in this home. It was well stocked and clean. The bed and linens were comfortable. There are 2 bedrooms and bathrooms but we only used one. It has a nice upstairs porch and bbq as well as a lower area with hot tub. The property manager was friendly and gave us several good suggestions on places to explore and eat. We did a lot of driving and exploring the coasts and redwoods. We didn’t make it to the river which is walking distance and there are kayaks available in the large garage that we conveniently kept our car in.

Summary: Clean and comfortable home w plenty of towels and blankets. Two of us stayed for a couples getaway and loved all the rain. Hot tub in the rain was exactly the right experience. Redwoods are beautiful. Did not feel exposed to neighbors.
