Negative: Sofa was a bit old and squishy but not horribly so. No dishwasher.

Positive: Not a B & B, so no breakfast, but the property was spacious, homey, comfortable, charming, and well appointed. There were lots of different places to recline and relax, from the outdoor swing to the various arm chairs and sofas, as well as a variety of books, DVDs, games, and kitchen appliances to make use of. We especially appreciated the coffee grinder and espresso maker.
Negative: Despite all of the emails from Vacasa and Booking.com, the directions to the house were not easy to find, and both the check-in and check-out times were a little extreme. I was disappointed that my request to arrive a bit earlier than 4pm or leave a bit later than 10am was refused apart from paying an extra fee. I also think the property is set up more for a small group of people with a dog than a family with kids, but that did not take away from our stay.
Summary: Once we got settled, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Positive: We absolutely loved this place. I saw some of the complaints in other reviews and honestly, I had to roll my eyes. If you're expecting a luxury retreat where everything is done for you, this isn’t it. But if you’re laid-back, love your dogs, and want a spacious spot that feels more like staying at a friend’s house than a rental, you’ll love it here. The house is incredibly dog friendly, with a doggy door, a full kitchen, comfy beds, Chromecast, DVDs, and puzzles. Our dogs were in heaven. It has everything you need and more. The water takes a few seconds to heat up, but come on—it’s a big place. That’s just normal. I strongly recommend it

Positive: Great location to town and beaches. Perfect for 4-6 people.
Negative: The single twin room has two door openings but no doors. The other bedroom with the two beds-the twin frame did not fit the mattress and stuck out-I hit my shins 4 different times due to the frame sticking out (I have bruises). The living room/front room was an issue because of the lack of lighting- It only had the ceiling fan lighting which was dim for that size room (the other light where the chaise lounger was really dim as well) and we couldn’t find the switch for the little light over the t.v. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay because of the location-so close to town. It was very clean and the beds were comfy. Maybe, put a “notation” about the opening to the home-I drove our excursion and it was a tight fit to enter the location due to the redwood and fence.
