Summary: We stayed in the corner king sized room. The room was great. The beautiful bathroom was a little small, you cant get dressed in there. We had the most amazing day poolside. The pool was super clean and no chlorine smell at all. The bed was glorious, no waking up with a headache from a bad mattress. (I am 260 lbs) The front desk people were all polite, smiley and super helpful. There is a sitting area at the front of the hotel with romantic lighting at night and it has the adorable singing of the coqui frog. The lobby and hallway are super cold if you need to escape the heat. The restaurant, omg, the food is great. The buffet is ok but pricey. Order your breakfast instead and get the best friggin breakfast ever made fresh. The entres sound impressive but arent. The food that you can order poolside IS WORTH IT. Omg so yummy. This place was away from the busy traffic but close enough to so many fun places. They have a golf cart that brings you to the beach. I hate beaches but loved this one, just have to buy sunscreen. The gift shop is just ok, not a lot of stuff like some stores nearby BUT its better quality. Upon arriving home we discovered that all the cheaper hoodies we bought at the souvenir shops were Walmart hoodies that somebody home embroidered with a sewing machine. We are both non-smokers and encountered no cigarette stink in the whole hotel. We were so happy with this place.

Summary: This hotel has a surprise resort fee that isn't included in the price listed on Hotels.com. Once you book and put in credit card information, you receive a notification right before hitting the "book" button that there is a $45 per day resort fee. Not cool. The resort fee covers internet and towels at the pool. Twice, when I went to the pool, there weren't any towels. If I'm paying $45 a day for a towel, they should make extra certain that there are towels available. The staff is way more interested in other things than helping guests. You'll wait for the bar staff or wait staff to finish a conversation before serving you. At the desk to check in, you should pack a lunch. It's the slowest service in history. If you're lucky, your room key will work as advertised. If not, you get extra rounds at the world's slowest desk. The hot tub was nice. Everything else was meh.

Summary: Apparently the rooms were remodeled including the rug removal. Workers in charge of the installation of a vinyl floor and new wall tiles at the bathroom did a very low quality work. In fact the floor was not leveled .

Summary: Location is only 2 blocks from the ocean and the golf cart will take you there and back any time between 9am - 5pm. Unfortunately the team at the beach isn't as hospitable. You have to let them know you are at the hotel so you can use the beach chair and towels. There should be a better way to ID guests. The pool looked beautiful but doesn't appear to be cleaned frequently. Hot tub was nice. Food at the restaurant was not good. I ate the breakfast buffet (included with my stay) and ordered dinner chicken caesar salad and truffle fries oun separate days. The taste of the food multiple days was just not good. It's also some confusion because the restaurant charges you and then the hotel manually credits the price of the buffet at checkout. Luckily I checked at checkout because I was charged for breakfast and asked then to fix my bill. Overall, my stay was good, affordable, close to grocery, close to the beach with chairs and umbrellas.
