2 Bedroom Apartment in Punta Las Marias, San Juan

A Ocean Front apartment with a great view from the front balcony and now also from our new deck. For longer stays we are offering a very generous monthly discount. So extend your stay! This 2nd story 2 Bedroom and 2 Bath unit is a nice, tranquil, breezy apartment on a quiet little street in a gated neighborhood. It is within steps of the western end of the Isla Verde Beach and a sheltered cove. Also walking distance to wide, sandy beaches, shops, restaurants and a supermarket. The apartment is fully equipped and furnished. It has two bedrooms, including a large Master bedroom with a king size bed and two full bathrooms. Room A/C mini-split units in both bedrooms and also in the kitchen / living room area. In the cooler winter season (Nov - April), the apartment is great for just opening up the double doors in the living room and enjoying the ocean breeze and view. Also, a very big plus for our apt. is that it has solar powered battery back up so we keep going even if the grid should happen to go down. Other amenities include WiFi internet, and washer/dryer in the apt.. It is a non-smoking apartment. Relax on the balcony or in the living room enjoying the beautiful ocean views or sit in the shady patio garden or on our large deck. A short 2 minute walk to a sheltered cove, an excellent place for small children to play in the sand and shallow, calm waters. To get further down the beach where there are wider, sandy stretches, remember to bring good beach shoes to comfortably walk over some rocks along the way. Within a short walk of the apartment you have a wide variety of eating options including a small food truck park, some casual dining (Pollo Tropical and Paco's Diner), excellent bakeries ( Panaderia Espana), a very good breakfast /brunch place (Bistro Cafe) and excellent coffee (787 Coffee), great local food, including 'mofongo' (La Casita,), pizzerias, and other fine international restaurants including Argentinian steak houses, Peruvian ceviche, and Italian. And if you feel like cooking your own meal, a supermarket is just down the road (Supermax).

Summary: This apartment was lovely. It is so close to the water, you can feel the ocean spray from the porch. Local access to a neaby beach was very convenient and there are quite a few of food establishments in walking distance.

Summary: This apartment is excellent in so many ways. It’s spacious—two adults and three kids fit in here well. The two bathrooms were key. In unit laundry is an amazing asset and it’s a bonus that there’s a second set of machines in the common space. The location’s proximity to the beach is unparalleled it’s so easy to just pop over to the cove without worrying about parking or Ubers. The compound is super safe, gated etc. It’s a major bonus that there are solar panels so when the electricity goes out this place still has use if everything except AC. Power goes out a lot in Puerto Rico so it’s very key to have solar. The internet was very strong. We were working while there on zoom calls while our kids were on tablets playing games. Internet could support all if it. The place also comes with everything you need. Beach stuff—chairs coolers towels snorkels sand toys. Kitchen is fully stocked with rice cooker blender toaster food processor and relatively nice pots and pans I also really liked that it has some character it’s got original looking fixtures and antique furniture. It’s nice that it’s not all ikea stuff. The outdoor spaces were also wonderful. John is a super attentive but not intrusive host. He’ll make sure you’re safe and all set up while you’re there. It’s a huge asset to have a host that lives on site so they know what’s going on and are there to help if needed.

Summary: Had a great trip at this location. Host John was very friendly and gave tips on places to go and see. The location is great, right on the beach and close to ample eating locations and stores. The house is stocked with all that you will need for the beach - towels, chairs, snorkel gear, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked. Overall very clean and spacious. We would definitely return.

Summary: Well maintained, clean, comfortable, lots of amenities, fully stocked kitchen with small selection of spices, stocked bathrooms with towels, washcloth's, soap and shampoo. Landscaping is well maintained. It was great being so close to a calm little beach. The beach is only maybe a 3 minute walk but it’s not right out front. There is a beautiful view of the ocean right out front!

Summary: We spent a week here with friends. John was a wonderful host, He let us check in a little early which was appreciated. He was very communicative and helpful with suggestions of where to eat etc and even brought us some of his own grown and roasted coffee ! The location was perfect right on the beach and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Summary: Overall a great stay at John's place. 4 of us (all females) in our mid 20s stayed here and felt safe. Location is great to hangout at the beach and San Juan isn't too far away. There isn't much of a 'party' scene this area, which we were okay with. Restaurants on the street near the house were good for the most part. We had a fantastic time, thanks John!
