Enjoy your quiet, country weekend, in this beautiful brick home, built by my father. We are close to wineries, and horse farms with event barns, and 15 minute drive to Carter's Mountain. This is a 3 bedroom clean home. I am a nurse and I understand the importance of cleanliness. This is a brick home with a large outdoor deck. 20 minutes to Monticello and 25-30 minutes to Charlottesville. 10 minutes to Scottsville with restaurants and bateau history. This house is in Keene with a Scottsville address. The basement apartment is rented and this is the first floor only of this home. Entry way is pad locked on both sides and a separate entry way is in the back. I do not allow pets due to the beautiful rugs. I will allow them if we agree ahead of time, and there is a fee that is returnable if no damage is noted.

Summary: Over all it was fine. A couple of things. The property owner said there was a grill we could use but we could not get it to light (gas). The property also had tenants that lived in the basement of the rental (which was disclosed). They had a TV or gaming system on most of the night and also smoked pot which we could smell inside and outside. Not our cup of tea. Would not rent again.

Summary: This property is very clean and well kept. My family is from Philadelphia so this property was a big change of pace. We welcomed it. It is every bit of country living from the well furnished homedown to the fresh farm eggs.The owner's communication is remarkable. Thank you for allowing us stay at your home during our daughter's graduation weekend from UVA.
