Positive: The apartment is very charming, having a character, and nicely furnished, convenient for a longer stay. It has a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine. One bedroom has an in-suite bathroom, and there is another bathroom in the corridor. Everything was clean and tidy. The host, Tino was very proactive and forthcoming, contacted me before the arrival, and provided great recommendations for Oviedo and surroundings. He was also immediately available when we had a small issue with the boiler (the issue was resolved very fast). The location is super - in a lived-in area of the city, but only with a short walk to the cathedral. There are multiple restaurants around, and the supermarket is almost in the same building.
Negative: The bed was a bit on a hard side for me. There is no air conditioning - usually not really necessary in this part of Spain, but we had a couple of days of extreme temperatures. It was possible to open the windows - the bedrooms were really quiet.

Positive: The location was incredible. Very close to the sites and lots of restaurants in the area. Probably one of the top apartments I have stayed in in over 15 years of using booking.com. Excellent value. The pictures are very accurate.
Negative: Nothing everything was great but the parking would be hard if you have a large car. This is not a reflection of the owner it’s just a fact of most European garages. We rented a comfort level MG and a larger car may have scraped the sides of the garage on the way down to the level. You should try to not to rent large cars whenever you in Europe. That being said, the city streets were easy to maneuver.

Positive: Great location with everything nearby (including a market!), included parking, very well-equipped kitchen for cooking, two bathrooms, comfortable furnishings, communicative and helpful host.
Negative: The floors weren’t very clean and the freezer was dirty and had some food in it.
