Summary: Went to San Marcos to visit our daughter who is a student, it was just a single night stay. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, albeit a bit dated. It wasn't run down, just a little dated. Evening hospitality was nice for a drink and relaxing after a long drive. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with an omelette bar. This hotel will be our go-to from now on when visiting San Marcos.

Summary: We had a great stay at this Embassy Suites. Check in was quick and easy, the room was clean, the beds were so comfy, the evening reception was an added bonus, and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Summary: Rooms were not clean on the 2 nd day we went out all day came back and dining table was dirty was not cleaned room and living area was dirty not enough towels left for us

Summary: Hotel was very clean and staff was excellent. The evening reception was great with attentive bartenders. Breakfast buffet was better than most and included an omelet bar.

Summary: 2nd in last two months initial stay was in the middle of renovations and required to move rooms due to water shut off small inconvenience but otherwise the stays were amazing rooms clean and fresh, full breakfast kitchen amazing along with all other amenities very safe place especially with teens parking area spacious with various entrances kids loved the pool area looking forward to traveling to San Marcos Texas again very friendly

Summary: Arrived at 5pm and the room type we reserved wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for ‘at least another hour’ so we were given a room with smaller beds. The lobby is nice but the rooms are dingy. Carpet is dirty. Hair all over bathroom floor when we checked in. Dead roach on the carpet. The omelet breakfast is the best thing about the place. PS - $12 a day to park in their huge parking lot?! Apparently they’re under renovation but they did not notify me of this until the day prior, and we had prepaid.

Summary: The staff was extremely nice and we love the style of embassy suites, the renovation is great. The pool was closed which was a bummer cause I had a great view of it from my room. My fridge didn’t get very cold, it may had been off for days before we got there, but my son’s room had a fridge so we used his. Staff offered to fix the fridge but we were done with people after the outlets and leaving early anyway
