5 Bedroom House in Landers Shoot, Palmwoods

5 separate rooms connected by timber walkways.
The main living area has a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom with toilet, bath, shower and an outdoor shower. Outdoor dining table with seating for 14 and large verandah with comfy lounges for relaxing & chatting.
The Frangipani Room is connected to the main house and shares the bathroom. It has a Queen Bed, and private access.
The Lavender Room has a queen bed , a single bed. and ensuite and deck with views overlooking dams and giant figs.
The 'Bordeaux' has a king bed and ensuite. It has a private entrance and views overlooking dams and giant fig.
The 'Rainforest Retreat' has a king bed and 2 single sofa beds. It has a huge circular bath with views of the rainforest and outdoor kitchenette and private verandah. There is a private entrance.
The 'Bunk Room' has 2 single over double beds with single trundles under (sleeps 8). It is connected to the main living area by timber walkways.
All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities. Coffee pods provided.
Linen, towels and basic toiletries are supplied.
There is a plunge pool.
Open fire pit and outdoor barbeque next to the main house.
No need to bring basics such as cling wrap, alfoil and baking paper. There is also a supply of salt, pepper, flour and Marshmallows
The beautiful beaches of Cotton Tree, Maroochydore and Mooloolaba are 25 minutes away.
40 minutes to the beaches and award winning restaurants of Noosa.
A 15 minute drive will take you to the rolling hills and fabulous waterfalls of the lush Sunshine Coast and the quaint villages of Montville, Maleny, Flaxton and Mapleton where you'll find galleries, antiques, great dining and views over the Sunshine Coast.
The whole property is available for rent on a nightly basis (min 2 nights).
Please no large wedding/event enquiries as we have neighbours close by with young children
We built Embers over the last 20 years, starting out with a caravan and some old timber from the cattle yards. Our home has been used for photo shoots, special occasions and featured in the Sunshine Coast Daily's '7 Amazing Stays on the Sunshine Coast' - 8 September 2016.
Our home is a series of prefabricated cabins designed by Peter and built by Glendale Homes, who he has worked with for over 30 years. We are very pleased to be able to share our home with others and hope that the memories you create here are as fond to you as the the ones we have created with our family.

Summary: From the moment we met Peter who greeted us & showed us around the property, we knew we were staying somewhere special. The house exceeded all our expectations, rooms were clean & fully equiped, main house had all amenities and nothing was forgotten. We booked our stay as a reward for our staff, their partners & children to relax & unwind. They certainly did that. The pool was great, kids fed the ducks, and the chickens roaming around the grounds added that extra something no where else has. Not to mention the neighbourhood boxer who came across to say hello. Carolyn & Peter have a beautiful space for large groups who want to have not only privacy but also the space for the group to come together to mingle at the fire pit, the pool, the large dining table or around the pizza oven. All our guests have raved about the property & didn't want to leave after the two nights we spent. It was a magical place and one we will remember for future gatherings. Thank you for having us, and thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Summary: Had a lovely 3 night stay at this property. Plenty of space for 4 families, lots of hiking and other activities to do around the area. Really well equipped kitchen and a pizza oven too. We will be back to this lovely property.

Summary: We had hired Embers a few years ago for my husband's 60th so we could have our whole family stay. Everyone loved it so much we decided to come back for my 60th Birthday. As usual, Carolyn and Peter were nothing short of amazing and their attention to detail is incredible. Everything about Embers is wonderful, especially the huge deck allowing us all to lounge around and chat, the kids to play....even while enjoying listening to the pouring rain on the roof and looking out to the spectacular view - the lush green grass, magnificent old tree and the dam complete with ducks. The pizza oven was fantastic as was the large oven in the chef-equipped level kitchen. The grounds are really beautiful and very lush given all the recent rain. The weather was incredibly hot and muggy while we were there, so the only thing to note, in very hot weather, is that the Frangipanni & Bunk Rooms are not air conditioned, though there are fans. The pool was also great and very well used by us all. We had 8 adults staying with 8 grand children ranging in age from 1 - 10. We all loved it. Embers remains our first choice for any kind of family gatherings/functions where a beautiful, welcoming and extremely comfortable space is required. Thank you again so much, Carolyn and Peter. Summary: The set up of the property was perfect for our retreat. All the bedrooms were equipped with a bathroom and were placed around the central lodge containing the kitchen and eating/communal spaces. Also beautifully decked out with homely touches. The land surrounding was beautiful and peaceful. We all had a lovely time there and will definitely be back.

Summary: The property photos did not do it justice! The rooms were lovely and inviting. The layout of the main residence was relaxing and catered for relaxing to watching tv, to playing games and having a coffee while watching the ducks roam. Highly recommend for any family or friends gathering.
