3 Bedroom Cottage in Port Hope

You can see the Pte Aux Barques Lighthouse from inside this beautiful cabin on the lake!
Cabin 8: This Listing is for a Two-Bedroom Cabin with one queen bed, one double bed, and a sleeper sofa. This cabin can sleep up to 6 adults.
This is one of eight beautiful cabins between Port Austin and Port Hope, MI that are all just steps away from Lake Huron. Each cabin has a furnished kitchen, bathroom, dining area, living room, and bathroom with shower. Outside you will find an firepit, propane grill, picnic table and patio furniture.
These cabins were built in the 1940's so they have a vintage look and feel, but include all the modern conveniences of home, with electric, city water, heat and A/C, free WiFi, and TV!
The property is located adjacent to Lighthouse Park, and we have beautiful views of the Pte. Aux Barques Lighthouse as well as breathtaking sunrises and sunsets to be enjoyed with the relaxing sound of gentle waves. At night, minimal light pollution makes for star-gazing that can't be beat!
​Includes: Each cabin is furnished with a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, cookware, picnic table and outdoor gas grill.

Summary: This cabin met all the needs my sister and I had for our relaxation and fall photography get-away. It was right on the water, super clean, and comfortable. The owners were approachable, very helpful, and easy to work with. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Summary: Great place for a waterside getaway. Lighthouse and water views were phenomenal. Make sure to wake up for the sunrise! Easy walk to lighthouse. Close enough to get to good restaurants within 10 min. Loved the cabin. Had all the modern conveniences while still feeling close to nature. Beds were comfortable. Hosts were very kind and responsive to any questions. The place could use a good dusting and bathtub could use a good bleaching which was the only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars all around…but that is easily overlooked for the location and everything else felt clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice waterside vacation on Lake Huron.
