Beautifully updated 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom home with incredible ocean views. Nestled on a quiet street on the north end of the island, Flock of Sea Girls has everything you need to enjoy the coastal lifestyle to the fullest!
Enjoy the best Wrightsville Beach has to offer at this one-of-a-kind beach house in a spectacular location in the quiet Shell Island Village neighborhood. Offering large oceanfront decks, easy beach access, and plenty of space for the entire family to spread out, this is your next vacation destination!
The main level of the home offers a bright and spacious open floorplan with incredible ocean views from the living room, dining area, and updated kitchen. The kitchen is perfect for large family gatherings and is equipped with all the comforts of home. A large kitchen island provides a great spot for your group to gather while preparing meals after a long day on the beach. From the living area, you can step out onto the large, oceanfront deck to enjoy sunrises, and sea breezes, and even watch the dolphins swim by each morning. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the main level. The first bedroom is the master suite with a king bed, ocean views, a private bathroom, deck access, and a flat-screen TV. The second bedroom includes a Queen bed and a twin over twin bunk bed and ocean views, and the final bedroom on this floor includes a queen bed, flat screen TV, plus ocean views. There are two bathrooms off the hallway to complete the main level and a roll-out cot is stored in the master suite closet.
The ground level includes an oversized oceanfront deck, a covered screened deck, a garage, and 3 more bedrooms. The master bedroom on this level has a Queen sized bed, private bathroom, flatscreen TV, and access to the screened deck. The other two bedrooms on this level have Queen beds. Another twin-sized rollaway cot is kept in the middle bedroom closet. There is a full bathroom in the hallway and a laundry room. The garage includes a ping pong table, an extra fridge, and beach equipment to enjoy throughout your stay. The large deck is the perfect place for the family to gather outdoors. When back and forth from the beach, enjoy the private path directly to the beach for easy beach access and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a long day in the sand and sun.
Parking instructions:
Parking for 8-9 Vehicles, depending on size. Any additional vehicles that do not fit at the property must park in paid public parking.
INCLUDED: WIFI, fully stocked kitchen, paper goods, and ALL linens, including all bedding + bath + beach towels to save you the hassle/cost of renting them separately ($200-300+ value)! When you arrive, beds will be made with crisp, fresh linens and complete sets of fluffy towels will be available. Beach bikes, cooler, beach cart, and beach accessories are also provided for your enjoyment.

Summary: There was about 12 of us and we had a great time. The big kitchen and table and couch make it a great hang out area for everyone. The weather was not good beach weather but the garage was packed with good bikes and chairs! The kitchen was packed with all essentials to cook and provide for a big group. Overall great stay!

Summary: What we liked best: Great location. Well equipped with beach towels, bikes, boogie boards, chairs, even fresh balls for the ping pong table! Lots of games. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Especially enjoyed the large screened in porch with plenty of comfortable seating. The home was the perfect size for us -- 12 adults. Everything was clean and fresh; plenty of linens that actually fit the beds. Three things would make the home even better: bathrooms were fresh and new, just small; beds too seemed new, but wish they had been larger (queens) & a little more comfortable; main sofa was large which we loved, but it had a strange, low back, and was not comfortable to sit on -- the porch furniture was awesome.

Summary: We'll be back to stay at Flock of Sea Girls for sure! It was the perfect spot for our belated family Christmas gathering. With 6 bedrooms and more than enough bathrooms, there was plenty of space for everyone in our party of 4 couples and a baby. The main gathering space was idea - very open with ample comfy spaces to hang out together or watch the enormous tv. The huge table left room to spare. There are porches wrapping around both levels, to sit in the sun or visit, including a furnished and screened-in section down below. The view from the main room is AMAZING - the ocean is right there, just a few steps away across some stepping stones to the access path. And y'all, they have everything you need: beach equipment, kitchen appliances, dishes, grill, bikes, books and games - it was like a Hogwarts Room of Requirement! We always found what we needed. And the property managers had frequent and clear communication so that we had no problems. We can't wait to take our own flock back to Flock of Sea Girls!

Summary: The house was in a great location, filled with beach & kitchen accessories, books, towels, roll away beds, and blankets. Very efficient for guests. We will rent again. Our only thoughts were the beds were squeaky and mattresses uncomfortable. The lower level had cockroaches.
