Summary: Stayed here as a way to be near the lake for easy access to Put N Bay and Kelly's Island. We were going to use the Jet Express down the street to get to the islands , but drove 30 minutes to pick up the Kelly Island and Miller's Ferry's because they were dramatically cheaper. This was still a perfect home base. The unit is immaculate and as good looking as in the pictures. Check in with a code was easy, and the unit had everything we needed. This is wonderfully rehabbed century home. There are a bunch of really nice restaurants a short walk away, and Sandusky has Cedar Point and other fun stuff. Highly recommended! We will be back!

Summary: Property was great, acoustics are challenging unit to unto. We also had a large group upstairs the first night that was partying and made impossible to sleep. I would recommend the property however

Summary: I would live in a condo like that! So cute! Perfect size ! The extra added touches of having an electric wine bottle opener, cutting boards, and jar of mints was amazing and convenient. The mattress was so comfortable too!

Summary: This is not an indictment of the accommodations nor the individuals with whom I interacted. The property is charming, clean and within walking distance of lots of local bars and restaurants and the people with whom I spoke to were very polite and accommodating. The reservation and check-in process, however, were less than stellar. First of all, this is not a rental by owner as the listing would lead you to believe (Josiah Meyers). This property is owned/managed by a management group out of Columbus (OH) called Arriva. No big deal, but in the spirit of full disclosure it would be nice to know. About the process; once our booking was confirmed through VRBO, we had to re-confirm with Arriva which was confusing. One would think that once you're confirmed you're confirmed. Now, this is when the fun starts. There were a lot of hoops to jump through at the last minute. A scan of your driver's license will be required AFTER confirmation and, if bringing Fido, you will be required to provide shot records. It's not so much about the documentation as it is about the timing. The request for the driver's license came the day after confirmation, but the worst is that the shot record requirement was thrown at me at 7am on the day of travel! It was all just one hoop after another and it was very annoying. Next, our access code was to be texted by 2pm and it was not. This required another call to Arriva. They apologized and immediately texted the code. Then, when we arrived at our apartment, the access code that they provided had not been programmed into the keypad. This required yet another call to the property management team. Finally, after numerous calls and annoyances we were in! This may not sound like much, but in my 25+ years of using VRBO I have never had to deal with such hassle. To summarize; great property, friendly staff, but the painfully inefficient and annoying reservation/check-in process cost them two stars. A five star property with a one star operation. Hopefully Arriva will take this review as a constructive tool to streamline their procedures in the future.

Summary: We decided last minute to plan a weekend getaway. It's a great location close to everything downtown Sandusky has to offer, restaurants, breweries, shops. There's so much to do!! We even tried axe throwing for the first time a Noble!! What a fun weekend, we're already planning our next trip there. Oh and if you're German or just love German food you have to check out Boeckling Club. The history of the building is so amazing and Tom the owner is happy to share it with you.

Summary: Beautiful mansion near the lake. Turned into a bunch of very nice little apartments. Nice kitchen and sitting space. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend.
