Welcome to the Meadows!
This is an ideal property for a family or couples to gather together and enjoy all that beautiful Galiano has to offer. Private and sunny, enjoy a barbeque in our covered patio, observe the birds ( and occasional otter) visiting our pond or just kick back and be entertained by the hummingbirds flitting about the established fruit orchard. We welcome one well behaved dog. If you have more than one dog, please reach out to us prior to booking. We have a $25 pet fee.
Located on 10 acres in the mid-south portion of Galiano, we are close to spectacular beaches and award winning dining. Montague Provincial Marine Park, with its great trails and spectacular sunsets, is only a 5 minute drive away and is one of Galiano's favourite beach destinations.
Our one story rancher comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests- featuring 3 large bedrooms with a king and 2 queens (one with an ensuite bathroom). We also have a couple of day bed areas, popular for napping and reading. Kids love our sandbox and rope swings and the whole family can enjoy outdoor fun with badminton and bocci ball. Inside, we have a growing selection of board games, puzzles and toys. We live nearby in a cabin on the property-close enough to give assistance if needed, far enough for you to have plenty of privacy.

Summary: Approx 20 min drive from the ferry. Hosts are friendly and quick to respond to any questions. House has plenty of room to accommodate a family with its 5 bedrooms. Sit on the patio and enjoy the quiet outdoors. Beyond the patio is a beautiful green space. Would recommend you bring your food supply as shopping is limited. A great place to escape city life.

Summary: The property is beautiful, quiet and private. Loads of beds and rooms, huge outdoor area for games, lounging, and cooking. We took a course at the community center which was a short drive away.

Summary: We had a great stay at the Meadows! The place was super clean and very well stocked with all the necessities. Very spacious and close to both the beach and the stores. Can’t say enough good things. We will definitely be back!

Summary: Thank you for a wonderful stay from the warm fireplace that you started for us Aussies coming from a 39 deg summer to BC winter... to the large house with ample space for cozy couch time to eating together with all the family at the large table. We appreciate the privacy as well as the access to Gord and Luerene if we needed any help. You home is lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

Summary: We try to visit Galiano at least once a year and this has become our favourite place to stay. There is more than enough room, the kitchen is well stocked and I love the heated floor. While this trip was just the two of us we've often said what a great place this would be for a family to spend a week's vacation. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend a stay at this VRBO.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Gord's property. Everything was a short drive and the lawn was huge with a swing, badminton net and great covered patio. Kids loved it. Gord made sure we had wood for the fire and that we had everything we needed. We're looking forward to going back.
