Summary: Short getaway from the city, nice views and still private. The beach was not quite the surf spot I had planned for as it is a typical rough nz coastline, this didn’t take much away from the trip though as it was still and a great place to relax.

Summary: Lovely bach, with everything we needed. Spectacular sea views from the front rooms. The fire warmed the whole bach in no time!! We got lucky with the weather - night sky was amazing. Only gripe was the barbecue had to be cleaned before we could use - lots of mould. Maybe a bit a the pricey side, for us to return.

Summary: Lovely bach with all the mod cons. Really loved the interior decor and clean but homely feel. Was abit of a mission lugging our gear inside with the lawn being wet/muddy so if Wendy recommends gumboots, take heed. The view from all directions is stunning. Fireplace kept the house warm until morning and the double glazed windows were good for noise reduction too. Shower has good pressure and bathroom was clean and spacious compared to other bachs (note) the bathroom sink is located outside bathroom in laundry but was no issue for us. Will be booking again through summer for some snorkelling and fishing.
