4 Bedroom House in Martinborough

Tucked away down a drive and set amongst a hectare of park-like grounds is Everland Retreat... the perfect place to share with family and friends for a relaxing break away, long overdue catch-up or even an informal work gathering in the country.
This spacious house can accommodate up to 12 people with its 4 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, a TV lounge that doubles as another sleeping area downstairs with adjacent bathroom suitable for wheelchair access.
The large kitchen with ample bench space, large oven and 6 burner gas cook-top means family and friends can cook together and the stunning dining room comfortably seats 16 people so perfect for a celebratory meal, or space to hold a small conference or team meeting. The TV lounge and sitting room off the kitchen gives everyone room to spread out and relax.
Off the kitchen is an expansive private deck offering plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors…a casual undercover seating area, tables and chairs for alfresco dining, a spa to relax and unwind, and beautiful grounds to wander and explore. Just perfect for outdoor summer living.
In winter months the house is toasty warm with radiators throughout the house powered by the old Stanley cooker/log burner and gas fire in the dining room.
Just a short stroll to Martinborough Village you are spoilt for choice with the amazing cafes, restaurants, bars, boutique shops, movie theatre and local brewery. Just a little further from the village, you are surrounded by incredible vineyards with tastings or platters or lunch menus available. Drop offs and pick ups available by arrangement.
Special conditions:
- There is a 2 night minimum stay except for Public Holidays or event weekends where a 3 night minimum applies.
- minimum number of guests is 6
- The house sleeps a maximum of 12 and is limited to use by those guests. Excludes use of the garage.
- Base rate with additional fees based on the number of guests using the house.
- Functions with outside guests are negotiable and by prior arrangement only. Additional rates will apply. Please let us know if you are planning to entertain others before you invite them.
- No guests above those booked. No late loud parties. We live on site and will ask you and your guests to leave if this rule is abused.
No Smoking Inside.
- No glass in the spa pool area.
- Noise must cease by 10pm and no fire works.
- One dog welcome by prior arrangement only. Please talk to us about the rules regarding having your fur baby stay.
- In the unlikely event that you or your guests cause damage to the property, restoration costs will be passed on to you.

Summary: Beautiful house, perfect to accomodate our group of 12 friends. Kitchen really well stocked. Nice and warm during the cold night. Really loved the dining room for a nice dinner at home. The hot tub was a great touch.

Summary: We had a spectacular time at this lovely house— it's spacious, comfortable, and well-cared for. Photos don't do the outdoor space justice; in addition to the enormous deck, the expansive back yard is perfect for cricket! Robyn is a very engaged and thoughtful host, super responsive and attuned to all the little details.

Summary: I've stayed in many holiday rentals around the world, and this property would have to be up there as one of the best overall experiences. This is the second time I've stayed at this holiday house with extended family, and it never ceases to impress. The property's hosts are friendly and very accommodating, especially regarding our miniature dachshunds. The property is comfortable and homely, with one of the best-equipped kitchens I've ever come across in a holiday house. The property is far enough out of the town centre to provide a sense of privacy but also close enough to walk into town. If you're visiting Martinborough with a group of close friends or extended family, this is the place for you! A+

Summary: Our whanau returned to this property over the weekend. Once again it provided all the space our multigenerational family requires. An excellent location and an easy walk to the town square and cafes. We even enjoyed some early spring sunshine on the enormous deck. We’ll be back again!

Summary: Great place for a combined (all ages) 4 families getaway. Easy walking distance to the square. Ample parking. Spacious kitchen with everything you need. Radiator heating was great. Kids loved the spa. Communication with owner was prompt & easy. Only marked cleanliness down as one bathroom a bit worn, but not a game breaker. Would happily rent again.

Summary: We stayed in winter as a group of friends. The house had everything we could possibly need and was so well thought out. Heaps of space, never felt crowded even though there were 12 of us. Lovely and warm throughout even in frost. The spa was wonderful, the massive dining table was wonderful. The location was perfect, easy walking distance into town. The hosts were so lovely, the most attentive welcome. We would love to return again and recommend very highly.
