Agriturismo San Tommaso is located on a hill with a splendid view over the valley 2km from the small town of Pomarance near Volterra. The property has a sunny position from morning to evening and is located 30 km from the sea and in a central position with respect to the most important art cities such as Pisa, Siena, Florence and Lucca. In about 30 minutes you can reach Volterra, Massa Marittima, San Gimignano, the cellars of the most important wines of Tuscany and many other small medieval villages. Ideal for lovers of trekking, mountain biking and horse riding in the nearby convensioned riding school. At 3km the sources of the Cecina river with wonderful pools of water for swimming. On the property there are 2 houses with 3 apartments each. All apartments are very independent with their own private outdoor area with barbecue and parking space. The surrounding garden is very large and even children can run and play in the play area. There are large terraces equipped with a wonderful view over the valley and a fenced m16x m8 swimming pool with Jacuzzi and waterfall, surrounded by a large green lawn where each apartment has its own private shaded area with deck chairs and sun loungers. Breakfasts, tastings and dinners with local products are available on request.

It has a private terrace with shaded pergola and panoramic view, table and deck chairs. Internally it has a comfortable living room of about 30 m2 with a wood-burning fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a large double bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds that can be joined, a small bedroom with a single bed and a bathroom with shower. The surrounding garden is fenced and can be accessed from the remote controlled gate, plus you can park in front of the entrance. It has an independent air conditioning system in all rooms and central heating. Spacious surrounding garden with playground, scenic walk and dining area. Outside during the day it is possible to hear noises from the nearby street.

Summary: We really want to come back here again. Swimming pool is perfect. Location is perfect to go to other places. Supermarket nearby. Owner Sergio is very helpful and very kind. A perfect package for a good vacation.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Agriturismo San Tommaso in Tuscany. The apartment was clean and well equipped and is near to Pomarance village where there is a well-stocked supermarket. The Place is beautiful as they show in the pictures, the pool is big and has a lot of space around. Cities like Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Firenze are easly reached by car for day trips and the sea is half an hour away. Thank you!

Summary: We had a wonderful time. The apartment IL LECCIO was spacious, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. . We enjoyed the grounds with the nice pool and garden. The host is super nice and very helpful. Don't miss out on the pizza night!!! We will definitely come back.

Summary: Me and my friends ( 6 people age of 23-29) stayed 1 week at one of Sergios beautiful apartments. It was the perfect Toskana holiday, couldn't imagine any better. Sergio is a very nice man, who helps you if you got any question or problems. Every wednesday he did a pizza party for his guests with self-made wine and oil, everything was so tasty. I'm sure this wasn't our last holidays at Sergios casa. See you soon :)

Summary: Lovely outside space and gardens, with a good sized pool. The owner is really helpful and the pizza night the family host is really worth doing and good value. The views from the pool are beautiful and typical Tuscany. The only slight negative is that our three bedroom apartment didn't have enough seats for us all and the kitchen was poorly equipped, with very cheap cutlery etc. As the kitchen is traditional and therefore dark all day, a couple of lamps and a good light for food preparation would help. Aside from that, I'd recommend this place without hesitation.

Summary: We had a very pleasant and uncomplicated time at Sergio Tacciati´s lovely house in the middle of Toscany´s unspoiled countryside. Our children (5,10,12) enjoyed the pool while we would sponge up the view - and some vino della casa. Day trip destinations like the beach at San Vincenzo, San Gimignano, Volterra, Montereggione, Siena are all to be reached within an hour´s drive. But there are pretty and also quiet places nearby, too. Hiking along and swimming in the Cecina river at Masso delle Fianculle is only one that´s worth mentioning. Sergio is there whenever you need him with his helpful and friendly way, but he knows how to humbly withdraw and stay in the background at the same time. The apartments by the way are all very individual, purposeful and good value. Thanks for a lovely week. H.L. (Munich, Germany)

Summary: After being for a while in Florence we stayed here for 10 days. The countryside is beautiful -- hills with villages on the top, grape and olive fields, sheep. On the same time it was quite close to go both to the sea as well as to main cities of Tuscany. For a company of two families with children the flat had plenty of room and enough playground. Children (and us) liked especially the pool. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pizza-parties organised every week. We really recommend the place. Thank you very much, Sergio! Summary: We just returned from a wonderfull holiday at Agriturismo San Tommaso. we enjoyed every day of our two week stay and are even thinking about returning next year. The agriturismo is located in the Tuscan hills but only 30km away from the beach giving you the opportunity to enjoy both sides of tuscany. all groceries can be found at Pomerance which is about 2km away. The agriturismo is combination of an authentic farmhouse together with a new build accomocation with three houses. the farmhouse is decorated in the orginal tuscan style, while the new accomodation is decorated in a more modern way. but all are fully euiped with modern euipment. so something for everyone. The outside area is very spacious and the swimming pool even more! It is even bigger in real live than it looks like on the pictures. Our two sons (3 years and 8 months) enjoyed it a lot, also because the swimming pool has a shallow part in which our 3 year old was able to stand. around the pool there are more than enough loungechairs for everyone in and out of the shade/sun. Every week Sergio (the owner) and his wife organise a pizza evening where Sergio bakes Pizza's for everyone in his own wood oven and you can drink his own wine from the farm. we participated twice and both times did not disappoint! The owners are really friendly and helpfull in every way!! we already arrived before noon on saturday as we drove during the night but we were more than welcome to wait in the gardens till our appartment was cleaned. we really enjoyed our holiday here! thank you to the owners, you have created a beautifull holiday location.
