Positive: The owner was extremely nice and friendly, offering great information on things to do and how to do them. Additionally, he allowed us to store our luggage at the property before check in, which was very kind. The room was exceptional and very spacious, with every amenity you could need. I would definitely recommend this stay!

Negative: Everything was great, there wasnt anything I didn't like.

Positive: Really nice hotel, very clean, reasonably priced.

Negative: The staff really don’t like people checking in after 7PM. Given that it isn’t easy to get to the place, as it’s an hour long bus ride from Odawara, they should be willing to be available a bit later. It was stressful to have to plan to get to Odawara by 5:30PM or earlier to catch the bus in time to get to the place before 7. It’s a hotel, it doesn’t matter if it’s remote, you have to be a bit more flexible about check-ins.

Positive: Super comfortable beds! We appreciated this so much because this was our first night in Japan after a long flight. The hosts of the guesthouse were also very helpful and friendly. They recommended a wonderful and reasonably priced restaurant that was an easy walk up the street. We rented a little car, but I don’t think it would be too far to walk from the main road. There is also a 711 close by. The area of town is quiet and pleasant. Nice driving from there to less crowded areas around Mt. Fuji. It was a good base for us to explore.

Negative: We didn’t mind them, but the house slippers were not very comfortable to walk in :)

Positive: The resort is perfect and everything you could need. The rooms are spacious, the WiFi is good. There is a washer and dryer on site which is great for those travelling. The owners make you feel at home, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
