One of Folly's Best! Hideaway in your own wooded sanctuary tucked 3 blocks away from the heart of Folly! The West Indie Inn is perfect for bigger family or friend reunions as it can accommodate up to 10 guests. When you walk in you are instantly welcomed by the open layout and natural light flooding in through the windows. As an added bonus the lights you turn on with a switch are all solar powered!! This green home is a show-stopper!
The kitchen is equipped with all stainless steel appliances and a gas range while the rest of the home boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to accommodate the whole family. There is a washer/dryer for ease during longer stays. Both the front and the back of this private home have porches for your enjoyment. Perfect for taking in all of the gorgeous marsh views that surround you. Enjoy creating special dinners on the gas grill. Less than a 10-minute walk to the beach and you'll have your own outdoor shower for when you return. This property will feel less like an Inn and more like a home from the moment you arrive! WIFI is provided and SmartTV with cable in the living room for movie nights. This property is certain to be a family favorite.
The West Indie Inn allows 2 house-broken dogs with a combined weight of 80lbs with prior approval. The propane and cleaning of the grill is responsibility of the guest. Summary: Comfortable, updated home with 4 BR, 2BA suited our group of 4 (long-graduated) college pals perfectly. The listing’s pictures don’t do it justice. We enjoyed the comfortable living room with space for all of us to gather, and the amazing screen porch… a great place to have happy hour while sunset colors the sky. Most of Folly’s restaurants and shops are about a 0.5 mile walk away. Be aware that two of the BR are quite cozy, but that wasn’t an issue for us. The home is elevated, as most of Folly Beach is, so expect to walk a long flight of stairs when you come or go. Charleston is a 30-ish minute drive away, and we spent one of our days touring there.

Summary: Perfect location and really great house! Very walkable to the beach but if you want to frequent the bars and shops on a long weekend I recommend getting a golf cart. Overall was a really great experience.

Summary: I wish the property manager communicated expectations in the property listing instead of after we booked. (Examples: thermostat settings, photo id and age requirements) The blue shower handle controls the hot water and red controls cold in the outdoor shower.

Summary: This property was better than the pictures. Very quiet neighborhood but close to the beach and downtown Folly. Beautiful sunsets off the back deck. Very clean. The kitchen had modern appliances and included anything you’d ever need and more. Very spacious for our party of 6 adults and 3 kids. Would stay there again and recommend to family and friends!!!!!

Summary: We immensely enjoyed our stay @ The West Indie Inn. The home was laid out perfectly with four nice bedrooms and an open kitchen and great room. The screened-in porch was so relaxing over the marsh. We would most definitely stay here again.
