Summary: We were very disappointed in the condition of the rental. The carpets were dirty, the linens were stained, the kitchen barely had any of the necessary items for cooking and eating. No baking sheets, very few utensils, not many pots and pans, and no cooking utensils. The painted walls were very smudged and not clean and the wallpaper was peeling in the bathrooms. The light fixtures and all vents were filthy. As if that wasn’t bad enough, we could hear everything that went on in the duplex next door. You could even hear conversations. Will definitely never stay there again and will not recommend either. Which is a shame. We just bought a rental and are fixing it up and would love to be able to recommend other places for friends and family to stay.

Summary: I felt very safe staying at this location right on the beach. The weather was not as cooperative. We still had a great time walking the beach, biking around the island and just going on day trips. Very quiet neighborhood. The internet was a little sketchy popping in and out, we had our kids who are in college that had to do some schoolwork snd had problems as the inter kept dropping. When we got there there was issues getting the gate card. When we went to open the box the card was missing, after 45 minutes of trying to get the manager, they gave us another box to open and used that card. Very comfortable relaxing stay! Our dog even enjoyed the Long Beach walks and chasing the crabs!

Summary: Very nice house inside a gated community. Safe to walk or bike in the community, felt very secure. Really clean and smelled nice when we entered. Every bedroom has television, but the TV in the queen bedroom didn't get any signal from anything. The living room furniture could use an upgrade. The cookware is okay, but don't plan on using it for fried eggs. Knowing these things about vacation homes, this was a wonderful house. Also, the check in and check out process is great, really easy. Not property-related, but the island itself during the off season doesn't have anything open for breakfast, and there's no grocery store on the island. A lot of the island restaurants are having staffing problems, so plan accordingly.

Summary: The place was roomy and clean. It's a quiet location across the street from the gulf. The back and front porches are nice, but could use some better furniture, especially the back. The AC was not working properly when we were there - mainly it would not cycle. Overall, though, I would stay here again.

Summary: Super easy to book. Super easy to enter property. Very quiet and relaxing. Much different experience than the hustle and bustle of other larger beach venues. Lots of family friendly activities. We visited the sea lab, Ft. Gaines and even went putt putt. Very family oriented. Would consider coming again next year.
