Summary: Although the early check in was appreciated, for some reason we were given an adapted room. As it was in a quiet area of the hotel we accepted it. I took a shower after checking in but the shower was blocked and flooded the whole bathroom. At 5pm I was told there were no maintenance staff on duty so we had to move rooms. This room was much noisier, on the main road. Not the best nights sleep

Summary: Excellent location being so close to Cardiff Bay and free parking as hotel guest is nice. You can tell the property is quite dated though and could do with some upgrades to rooms. Our air con did not seem to be working or not strong enough so that could be an improvement. Didn't try the restaurant but the bar area seemed nice and relaxing to sit and lounge.

Summary: We often stay here and usually sleep well although this time we were in room 125 and there was a constant sound similar to air conditioning (ours wasn’t on) though the night.
